Bosé was born in San Fernando Hospital in Panama City, Panama, the son of the famous Italian actress Lucia Bosé and the legendary bullfighter Luis Miguel González Lucas. He is also cousin of Carmen Ordóñez. His Godfather was Luchino Visconti.
In 1971, Bosé started a career as an actor, participating in various movies. However, he did not make that many films, and in 1975 he decided a career change was due and started exploring his talents as a singer. By the hand of Camilo Blanes he recorded his first singles. Some years later Bosé signed a contract with CBS Records in 1977 and he remained with them until 1984.
On March 16 of 2010 he received the Colombian citizenship during a ceremony in the presidential palace, Casa de Nariño.

Plier, casser, ou me taire
Même si je suis moi et autre
Tu ne veux pas savoir
Le mal que tout ça me fait
J′aimerais, pour toi et pour moi
Toutes ces choses que tu veux oublier
Je passerai mes nuits avec ton nom
Des nuits à me perdre à me damner
(Perds-toi en moi, reviens à moi)
Perds-toi en moi
Trésor
Mon trésor plus qu'infini
Je reviens, je reviens, je reviens
Au point du départ
Même si je veux bien tomber
Pour grandir et pour savoir
Même si je peux tout donner
Tu ne veux plus savoir
Le mal que tout ça me fait
Je ferais ce tatouage sur ma peau
En souvenir
Trésor
Je porte ce désir infini
Je reviens, je reviens, je reviens
Au point du départ
Même si je peux tout refaire
Plier, casser, ou me taire
Même si je suis moi et autre
Tu ne veux pas savoir
Le mal que tout ça me fait
The first verse of the song "Trésor" by Miguel Bosé talks about a lost love and the attempts to bring them back. The singer wishes that their name alone could serve as a key that would allow them to be reunited. The second line also seems to suggest that this person has been physically and emotionally separated from the singer. The repetition of "si c'était ton nom" (if it were your name) emphasizes the longing and desperation that the singer feels.
The chorus of the song repeats the word "Trésor" (treasure) which seems to refer to the lost love. The singer recognizes that their desire for the person is endless, but they are aware that they may not be able to get back what they've lost. It's also clear that the singer wants to forget about the pain that the separation has caused, but they can't forget this person. The phrase "Perds-toi en moi, reviens à moi" (Lose yourself in me, come back to me) is repeated throughout the song, reinforcing the idea that the singer is hoping for a reunion.
The third verse of the song is a declaration of the singer's willingness to do anything to get their love back. They are willing to stay up all night thinking about the person and to get lost in their thoughts. The singer recognizes that they are unable to move on and are still affected by the person's absence. The last line in the song suggests that the singer wants to get a tattoo to remember the lost love.
