During their shows, Mihai Edrisch perform in almost total darkness, with only a few red lights to allow people to see moving shadows (a practice Celeste perpetuated). After playing numerous shows with bands like Daïtro, Simfela and Overmars in 2002, they did an Eastern European Tour in July 2003.
The band has two albums to their name, the first, "L'un Sans L'autre", was released on Alchimia in Europe and on Godschild in the US, Japan, and China. The second, "Un Jour Sans Lendemain", was released on Pure Pain Sugar.
Mihai's riffing style was very dissonant in nature with many angular melodies intertwined alike with melancholic clean guitar sections. They are exorbitantly intensive whilst not even being relatively "emoviolence". They could very well be described as being "psychological emoviolence terror".
Johan's vocals were particularly very emotional and heartfelt, exclusively sung in French, with a strong accent that punctuated every word. He abandoned this approach when he started singing for Celeste, in favour of a more blackened rasp.
Footage of their last show finds them playing some unknown songs that were going to be part of their third record that never came to fruition, they probably ended up becoming Celeste songs. Being a post-Mihai project, their debut EP still had many Mihai elements that were subsequently abandoned in favour of a new sound. But no other screamo band; old, new, French or otherwise, has ever displayed the Mihai sound. Johan has since then expressed he wished this new band had kept exploring this type of songwriting approach Mihai possessed.
Band members: Johan, Remi, Florian, Benoit, Guillaume
Mihai Edrisch broke up in late 2005, although some of their members continued to play in other bands, such as Daïtro and as mentioned, Celeste.

The lyrics of Mihai Edrisch's song L'un sans l'autre are about the longing for a connection with a significant other. The singer is in search of someone to love and be loved by, but is unable to find that person. Instead, he is left feeling empty and alone, wandering through life without any real purpose or direction. He recognizes his own shortcomings and the mistakes he has made, but despite his best efforts, he cannot seem to find the love and connection he desperately needs.
In the first verse, the singer describes his constant search for love, but it always seems just out of reach. He is constantly surrounded by emptiness and pain, and he feels like he is walking through life aimlessly. He is alone with his thoughts, unable to find anyone to share his life with.
In the second verse, the singer recalls a time when he felt more sure of himself, but realizes now that he was never truly happy without someone to share his life with. He recognizes that he made mistakes in his past relationships by not being honest with his partner and keeping things from them. He now understands that true happiness can only be found in a loving, honest relationship.
Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of longing, isolation, and regret. The singer is searching for a meaningful connection and recognizes that he cannot find happiness without it. The song is a stark and honest reflection on the challenges of finding love and the pain of being alone.

quite a few French black metal musicians must be into screamo - I can hear a clear similarity to not just Celeste but also Blut aus Nord, Deathspell Omega and Plebeian Grandstand's weirder moments
