don alfonso
Mike Oldfield Lyrics

Now I'm a toreador
I am for sure
I kill bulls by the score
And sometimes more
And when they hear the bell ring
Inside the bullring
The bullocks all start trembling
They know I'm coming
I'm Don Alfonso
Some call me Pedro
But that is not so
I'm Don Alfonso
I fought bullocks out in sunny Spain
Out in sunny Spain
I fought bulls in the sunshine
And I fought them in the rain
I'm Don Alfonso
I work for Oxo
And all the bullocks are afraid of me
Oh, my sword I pull
Kill zi bull!
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full
Then we have steak and chips for tea
I met a sweet señora
In Barcelona
Her christian name was Mona
She was thumbs-up bona
She told me she was single
That made me tingle
My heart went jingle, jingle
I said "Let's mingle"

[ Chorus ]
I'm Don Alfonso
Some call me Pedro
But that is not so
I'm Don Alfonso
I fought bullocks out in sunny Spain
Out in sunny Spain
I fought bulls in the sunshine
And I fought them in the rain
I'm Don Alfonso
I work for Oxo
And all the bullocks are afraid of me
Oh, my sword I pull
Kill zi bull!
Yes, sir, yes, sir, three bags full
Then we have fully beef for tea
[ Repeat Chorus ]
[ Repeat Chorus ]

Finally found it !! This song was originally called "The Torriador Song" and is the "B" side of Mike Oldfield's single "In Dulci Jubilo" .... 1974 ( I think )

I Like Bananas Sometimes

Other way around. An early recording of In Dulci Jubilo was the b side of this single.

@rdisky40 He was an English comedy actor called Larry Martyn and he appeared in loads of things most notably as Mr Mash in Are You Being Served? An idiot called "A Knight Called Ni" had the actor down as Andrew Sachs on Wikipedia and when I corrected it he removed any mention of the actor!

Timothy Llompart Collins

If I can say something, it is obvious they're both English. I mean, I am Spanish and I can't see any Spanish persons there. Anyway, those costumes are from Andalucía, even though the "toreador" thing is well know al along the country they mainly come from there (as far as I know, I am 0 into it).

No creo que sea importante el tema taurino, es un videoclip comico. Y ademas este tema del señor Oldfield es genial, no es nada comparado con sus grandes obras pero es un tema curioso y comico que merece ser escuchado.

This is only enjoyable with large amounts of alcoholic drinks. Later, he did a B-side to the single of Moonlight Shadow, which I find highly comparable and is called Rite Of Man.
