Mike WiLLโs own mixtape, Est. In 1989, a collection of singles and previously released tracks that Mike has produced, a way to catch new fans and Johnny-come-lately industry representatives up on what Mike WiLL has been up to over the past few years. Also included on the tape are handful of previously unreleased exclusives, including the tapeโs lead single, โItchinโ,โ which features Future and has already garnered radio play, and โAnimosity,โ a track that features Gucci Mane and Yo Gotti.
All told, Mike WiLLโs placements have earned him well over 20 million YouTube views, heavy radio play, his first Billboard charting single, and his own burgeoning production company, all before the age of 24 โ and with plenty more still to come. โI want to work with everybody, whoever I havenโt worked with yet,โ remarks Mike, noting that he has no intention of limiting himself by genre as his career continues to flourish. โFrom street rap to Disney to pop; I want to do it all.โ And as itโs been since he first discovered his love and passion for music from his Uncle Al as a young kid, no matter what heโs doing, Mike WiLL Made It will do it in a style all his own.

Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen, when we fall
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen, when we fall
Amen, amen, amen
God save us all, I pray for y'all
You know the tables turned, I buy a table cloth
I got it off the ground, and now it's straight to Mars
Shout out to the pilots that died takin' off
The crime rate evolve, but I take the charge
I try to obey the law, on Fridays it's hard
Vibrating floors for my groundbreaking bars
The crowd gave applause then the clouds gave us stars
When all faith is lost, you just gotta say the thoughts
Can't let us down, pause, fast forward, play, record
It's a lake to cross, hope you make it straight across
To make it safe across, we leave when we should take a cross
And when the day gets dark, that's when the fire start
They cryin' "Amen amen," the third times the charm
Brenda's got a baby, I pray it's not my baby
Say it's not my baby, and my response is "Amen"
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen, when we fall
The song "Amen" by Mike Will Made-It and Lil Wayne is a rap track that explores themes of faith and salvation. The chorus repeats the word "amen," a word often used in religious settings to express agreement or affirmation. Here, it serves as a reminder that even when we fall, there is still hope for redemption. Lil Wayne's verse begins by praying for the salvation of all and referencing a flipped table as a metaphor for turning his life around. He then references the tragedy of airplane crashes and the crime rate while saying he takes responsibility for his actions. Friday nights are hard for him to obey the law, but he brings groundbreaking bars that earn him applause from the crowd. When faith is lost, the only thing that can save us is saying our thoughts out loud. It's hard to cross the figurative lake of life, but we have to make it straight across to be safe. And when things get dark, the fire starts, and people cry "amen" as a reminder of their faith. He then references Tupac's "Brenda's Got a Baby" to segue into his final line, "Say it's not my baby, and my response is 'Amen'," indicating the importance of being responsible for one's actions.
Overall, the song is a reminder that even when things seem hopeless, there is always the possibility of redemption, and a call to take responsibility for our actions and have faith in a higher power. The use of religious language and imagery is not uncommon in rap music, and serves as a way to express deeper emotions and struggles.

@@conchettasacco6942 I agree on that.
My further opinion is that he screwed up around the "Brenda's got a baby" lines and after.
It trashed the song for me.
"Brenda's got a baby" is a song based on tragedy and a allusion to real life events. (Ok "good", let's run with that in a prayer song.)
But then Wayne trashes it with, "I pray it's not my baby"? WTF?
A prayer song, turned fornication, turned "Maury moment" that has NOTHING to do with any of the other lyrics. She "Brenda" could have been one of the people taken across, left behind or lighting a fire.
But no, we get this.
Amen= so be it
Just doesn't fit a prayer anthem at all for me.

The fact that the whole rocky/creed series can always bring across one of the most important messages and still keep it family friendly is the reason I believe that it is one of the best set of movies.
