Milk Teeth Lyrics

Your flesh on bone, runs through my head, alone in bed (I SHAVED FOR YOU!)
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
My youth is wasting
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
My youth is pleasure
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE! YOUR YOUTH IS ROTTERN TO THE CORE!)
An open wound in my rottern skin this may be may be (YOUR ONLY WAY IN!)
Peel back my flesh to see the rest, do I disgust (DO YOU DETEST!)
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
My youth is wasting
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
My youth is pleasure
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE!)
My youth is wasting
(WE'RE ALL LIARS HERE! YOUR YOUTH IS ROTTERN TO THE CORE!)
(LIE WITH ME! WHY WONT YOU LIE WITH ME?!) X4
Your youth is rottern to the core X2
The lyrics to Milk Teeth's song "Linda" depict the raw and sometimes uncomfortable emotions surrounding sexuality and youth. The first verse describes the primal urge to procreate, with the command to "spread their seed." The second verse delves into the intimate moments of being alone in bed, with the image of flesh on bone running through the singer's head. Moving into the chorus, the repeated phrase "We're all liars here" suggests a sense of shame or deception surrounding these actions and desires. The following lines about "wasting" and "pleasure" contradict each other and add to the theme of inner turmoil. The third verse brings in a sense of physical decay, with the singer's "rotten skin" and the possibility of disgust or revulsion from others. The final repetition of "Your youth is rotten to the core" serves as a mirror to the earlier accusations, suggesting a shared sense of corruption.
The song as a whole seems to grapple with the societal pressure to conform to certain expectations of behavior and attraction, especially in regards to youth and beauty. The frank language and bold statements challenge these norms and encourage listeners to embrace their own desires and imperfections, rather than burying them under lies and shame.
