2:06-2:11 is such a beautiful shot. The transition between Addison normal clothes to wolf outfit. I just love that Addison just falls into the crowd then arises back out in the new outfit. Its like Phoenix rising from the ashes sort of thing. It’s such a seamless shot as well. I remember when I first saw the film, I had to stop and rewatch that one shot over and over again. I think one of the reasons Zed wasn’t thrilled about Addison being a werewolf is because he could sense that it wasn’t who she was and could tell that she was pushing so hard to find out who she was that he saw her settling for something that he could tell was not quite her and more of her wanting to find a place, otherwise he would of encouraged her more than anything.

Alright, just gotta get this off my chest. Addison is totally still the Great Alpha! She did lead the wolf pack to the moonstone, and technically the prophecy never said that the Great Alpha had to be a wolf. Plus, there is the theory that Zed’s Z-Band drained the moonstone necklace, but it did still light up when Addison put it on. Is it possible that she is a wolf, she just needs to put the makeup on like Wyatt did before he went full wolf? All of these could be theory’s already, but I just wanted to put this out there! They never said that the Great Alpha was or had to be a werewolf, the werewolves just assumed it was one of their kind. So in Z3, she could be an Alien or have Alien-like qualities and still be the Great Alpha. It's like when they found the Moonstone under Seabrook Power, The prophecy said that the pack together could lift the stone, but it didn't at all specify that that pack had to be all werewolves or werewolves at all. And what ends up happening is they all managed to lift the stone by expanding their pack with everyone pitching in.

This might explain what happened with the Moonstone necklace. The prophecy said that the Moonstone would turn whoever wears it into the Great Alpha and a werewolf (like the werewolves said, "One of us"), but it doesn't end up happening when Addison wears it because a theory is that Zed's Z-band might have affected it and that the Moonstone might have been drained because of it. But I don't buy the theory as it's already been established that the Moonstone affects electronic devices and not the other way around (just like when Zed's Z-band glitched at the campaign and he went zombie), so I doubt the Z-band would be more powerful than it or that it could drain the Moonstone. More likely again that the werewolves misinterpreted the prophecy and that the Moonstone just turns them into what they are meant to be, whether that be a werewolf, zombie, alien etc. If Addison is an alien in Z3 (or even just a regular human) that might be why the Moonstone didn't turn her into a werewolf then, because she wasn't meant to be a werewolf or at least not at that current moment.

Because of this lovely symbolism, Addison still is the Great Alpha and still fulfilled the prophecy. She put on the necklace and guided the werewolves to the Moonstone, whether she was meant to be and turned into a werewolf or not.

Zed and Addison are my power couple and I love Zed's reaction when he sees Addison dressed as a werewolf and I get where both he and Addison were coming from. In this film, it's not just that he didn't want her to become a monster because he was still having a tough time accepting himself as one and wanted to protect her from receiving the same ridicule he and the zombies did, while she just wanted to know who she is and where she belongs, but it was clear that Zed knew that this isn't who Addison is. He knew that she's more than one thing and shouldn't erase herself and become someone she isn't. I believe that in this film and in the third one, Addison realized that it is important to know who are but you don't only have to blend in and hang out with others who have the same DNA as you as it won't make you special, you can make your own pack and include your own kind and others who are different and Zed was the one who helped her realize that and sees her for who she is.

i just finished watching the movie and absolutely loved it. also i was so hype when Addison and Zed finally kissed. i believe Addison is a werewolf because when the necklace attached to Zed's Z-band i think it took all or at least most of the power out of it. so maybe that's why she didn't turn werewolf. unless the secret blue light at the ending meanings something and we'll see it in Zombies 3 that leads into more of what she is.
