Mina Lyrics

Here come old flat top
He come groovin' up slowly
He got ju-ju eyeball
He one holy roller
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker
He just do what he please
He wear no shoeshine
He got toe jam football
He got monkey finger
He shoot Coca-Cola
He say I know you, you know me
One thing I can tell you is
You got to be free
Come together, right now
Over me

He bag production
He got walrus gumboot
He got Ono sideboard
He one spinal cracker
He got feet down below his knee
Hold you in his armchair
You can feel his disease

He roller coaster
He got early warning
He got muddy water
He one mojo filter
He say one and one and one is three
Got to be good looking
'Cause he's so hard to see
Come together right now
Over me

You've got the thriller, thriller night

Here come old flat top
He come groovin' up slowly
He got ju-ju eyeball
He one holy roller
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker
He just do what he please
Come together right now
Over me

Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah

Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah

Overall Meaning

The song "Come Together" by Mina portrays the character of the song's subject in a way that demystifies him. The character exhibits behavior that is outside the norm and is a social outlier. With these lyrics, Mina suggests that it is important to be free and unique, and to not conform to traditional societal expectations. The song uses vivid descriptions to help listeners create a mental image of the eccentricities of the subject.

The lyrics present the character as one who does not care about the opinions of others; he wears no shoeshine, has hair down to his knee, and he is a joker who does whatever pleases him. The subject is also seen as somewhat of an oddball with joo-joo eyeballs, monkey fingers, and toe jam football. Despite these strange characteristics, the song portrays him as an influential character who can hold you in his armchair with his disease.

The chorus "Come together, right now, over me!" brings people together. The use of the word "me" can be interpreted in many ways, but it is typically thought to serve as a commonality that brings people together, giving a sense of belonging to something unifying.

Arrangiamento stupendo!!!!!!Coinvolgente il crescendo. Grandi musicisti e grande Mina.

🤗NESSUNA COME LEI ✨
😍 MERAVIGLIOSA. ✨
💛PERFETTA SENZA DUBBIO. ✨💎💞

tricky dick

L'arrangiamento è interessante, ma credo venga sempre dopo quello originale. Mina ha poco da fare. Dovrebbe scegliere altre canzoni beatlesiane, per esempio "You've got to Hide Your Love Away" magari dopo aver sentito la versione di Joe Cocker.
