Ming admires Mandy Moore, Gwen Stefani, Jolin Tsai and other performers who hold themselves up to high standards. Not to forget her great mum of course ;) She is at her best singing contemporary pop and smooth jazz.

Sunshine cloud or rain
The difference it has made
And on, and on and on it goes
Out of our control
How could we have known?
And my mama said young relationships would never work
Have to wait till I'm all grown up but it hurts
But I just had a heart attack, electric stat, realized that, we went flat, all collapsed,
I know you now wouldn't change that but baby, you need to hear me say...
I want you back I should have known better than that
All the stuff that we've been through
You can't undo I tried to
I want you back I should have known better than that
But all this time I still believe
You and me We could be
I want you back
Oh the sunlight you would bring
Forever comforting
Was it all just acting
So now you've gone and gone away
I saw my last bright day
You just left me to decay
And my mama said young relationships would never last
Have to wait for this puppy love phase to pass
It was never quite surreal
But I just had a heart attack, electric stat, realized that, we went flat, all collapsed,
I know you now wouldn't change that but baby, you need to hear me say...
I want you back I should have known better than that
All the stuff that we've been through
You can't undo I tried to
I want you back I should have known better than that
But all this time I still believe
You and me, we could be
I want you back
And I know there's no excuses
You don't want this confusion
But I just want to tell you
This is no delusion
There2s nothing left to lose here
Everything that I feel
You and me together I know that was all real
I want you back I should have known better than that
All the stuff that we've been through
You can't undo I tried to
I want you back I should have known better than that
But all this time I still believe
You and me We could be
I want you back
The song "I Want You Back" by Ming Bridges is a heartfelt ballad about a past relationship that ended badly. The lyrics speak about the unpredictability of life and relationships, with the lines "The weather it does change, sunshine cloud or rain, the difference it has made" highlighting the uncertainty that comes with being in a relationship. Ming Bridges sings about her regrets and how she should have known better, wishing she had the chance to go back and fix things. The chorus is a plea to her ex-lover to come back to her, expressing her belief that they could make it work if given another chance.
The song also speaks about the advice that Ming's mother gave her about young relationships not working out, but despite her mother's warnings, Ming couldn't help but fall in love. The following lines, "It was never quite surreal, but I just had a heart attack, electric stat, realized that, we went flat, all collapsed" express how, although their relationship may not have been perfect or "surreal," Ming was still completely invested in it.
In the final verse, Ming acknowledges that there may be no excuses for the way things ended between them, but she still desperately wants her ex-lover back. She stresses that what she feels for them is real and that there's nothing left to lose in giving their relationship another chance.
Overall, "I Want You Back" is a poignant and emotionally-charged song about heartbreak and regret, with Ming Bridges showcasing her vocal talent to convey her pain and longing.
