San Francisco coeds Minipop arrive on the scene with their debut record "A New Hope", making music that recalls the Cardigans' effortless pop perfected tunes. Vocalist Tricia Kanne's delicate voice soars over the keyboard laden arrangements and layered guitars creating a lush brand of dream pop. The gorgeous reverie of sound present on the album is highlighted with with a dichotomy of crashing choruses and honeyed vocal arrangements resulting in a remarkably rich collection of songs.
