Minipop Kids Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
Oh! You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
The song "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" by Minipop Kids starts off with a warning to children that they should be on their best behavior because Santa Claus is coming to town. The lyrics further emphasize this point by saying that he's making a list and checking it twice to see who's been naughty or nice. The song then goes on to say that Santa Claus knows all about the children, including when they're sleeping and when they're awake. It then ends with the same warning as the beginning - that children should watch out, not cry, and not pout because Santa Claus is coming to town.
This song is a classic Christmas song that has been around for many years. It's a reminder to children (and adults) that Christmas is a time to be kind, generous, and thoughtful to others. The song also adds an element of fun and excitement to the holiday season, as children eagerly await the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.
Overall, "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" is a timeless Christmas song that reminds us all of the joy and magic of the holiday season. It's a song that has been loved by generations of children and adults, and it's likely to continue being a favorite for many years to come.
