Combining a passion for J.K. Rowling and the wonders of the digitial age, Ministry of Magic presses the genre of wizard rock into a newer, less visited world: wizardtronic. The music of MoM is a tapestry of orchestra, pop, rock, dance, and hip-hop carefully woven to create a full sensory experience for the type of fan attracted to wizard rock: imaginative, discerning, and filled with an appetite for something more than just the middle of the road.
They were signed to Indytronic Records until that label's dissolution. As of 2010, they have released five albums -- four LPs and an EP. The Triwizard Lp (2007), Goodbye Privet Drive (2008), Acoustiatius (EP, 2008), and Onward and Upward were released under Indytronic Records, and their latest offering, Magic is Might (2010), was released independently. In addition, members Mark Jennings and Jason Munday, along with Jeremy Jennings, worked on a side project under the name "Muggle Relations". Their lone EP to date is titled "I Must Not Tell Lies" (2009).
They have collaborated with a few wizard rock artists such as The Remus Lupins, Kristina Horner from The Parselmouths and The Moaning Myrtles. MoM was also featured on 'Jingle Spells' and 'Jingle Spells 2', two charity compilation albums to raise money for Book Aid International.

Here tonight, leave all solid groud
You and I will fly out of this town
Have to find, leave the undergroud?
We're breaking into Gringgotts
If I have to give the impurius curse, I'll try
Voldemort has locked away his horcrux
To bad the sword of Gryffindor is with us?
Voldemrot will know we're killing off his last life lines
Everyone will know that we're still fighting
Not a shallow graze of fear fully hiding?
(Not a shallow graze of fear fully hiding)
You and I, will fly out of this town
Here tonight, leave all solid groud
You and I, will fly out of this town
Have to fight, leave the undergroud?
We're breaking out of Gringgotts
If I have to climb abourd an angry dragon hide
It's unchanging you can bet determined?
To finally escape this incarceration
Came in with the sword, leave with the cup
Holding tight as I can to through this runaway truck?
Feel the cool of Diagon Alley
Fly through the doors on this dragon valley
(Fly through the doors on this dragon valley.)
You and I will fly out of this town
Here tonight, leave all solid ground
You and I, will fly out of this town
Have to fight, leave the under--
You and I will fly out of this town
Here tonight, leave all solid groud
You and I will fly out of this town.
Have to fight leave the undergroud
(Leave the undergroud
There's a chance we'll reveil our cover tonight)
Reveil our cover tonight
Voldemort will know we're killing off his last life lines
(Reveil our cover tonight, everyone will know that we're still fighting
We're still fighting,
Not a shallow graze of fear fulling hiding)

This really brings back the nostalgia. Feel like I should hit up myspace again. I so clearly remember the moment when Gryffindor Rally Cry was released, and I was super pumped. Thanks guys, you really added something to my teen years.
