Already as a little boy Mirco de Govia was interested in electronic music (such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream). Because of this, he handcrafted his first sound generator.
In 1991 he jumped onto the booming German techno wave. After a period of time as a party animal, he felt like trying to develop the trance and techno scene himself. He bought music equipment and began to work in his own studio.
In 1994 he released his first vinyl through the German underground label Raindrop. Read Full BioAlready as a little boy Mirco de Govia was interested in electronic music (such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream). Because of this, he handcrafted his first sound generator.

In 1994 he released his first vinyl through the German underground label Raindrop. At the same time he met Ralph Kyau (the future owner of Euphonic) who also released his first record on a sub-label of Raindrop. They soon became friends.
Disappointed of the work of Raindrop, Kyau started his own label titled Harmony Recordings. Through that label Mirco released his Romance EP, his first EP as Mirco de Govia.
When Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert started their label Euphonic in 1997, Mirco decided to restart his musical career. In the following years mirco produced a few compilation tracks and his first Euphonic single, Clubspring Meets Mindspring, in 2000.
In 1999 mirco composed Epic Monolith as compilation track. Euphonic had the plan to release it as single, so Mirco reproduced the tune, working alongside Ronski Speed and Rough Mullar. In 2001 Epic Monolith became a Europe-wide club-hit, played by practically every important trance DJ. Xtravaganza signed the track one year later. The track soon entered the UK dance and sales charts.
The advent of his latest album, Chronoscale, was in November of 2003.
