Silver

Slowly, silently, now the moon

Walks the night in her silver shoon;

This way, and that, she peers, and sees

Silver fruit upon silver trees;

One by one the casements catch

Her beams beneath the silvery thatch;

Couched in his kennel, like a log,

With paws of silver sleeps the dog;

From their shadowy cote the white breasts peep

Of doves in a silver-feathered sleep;

A harvest mouse goes scampering by,

With silver claws and a silver eye;

And moveless fish in the water gleam,

By silver reeds in a silver stream.

Complementary Passion is Silver and Compassion. Silver is a conjure of thoughts of reflection, depicting one less lonely of fact state in the world that is home to loneliness, or aloneness by another way.

I think this poem (which you read beautifully) is remarking how the release of any being's strife is like a passion, if not a passion. Personally I think it is a passion, for what is a passion save for that twinkling sense of fulfillment (though temporary) that passes through you like the high of a wave, or that of a washing calming breeze?

Thank you for sharing this poem.
