Entre ellos estaban los reformados Pax, integrado por Coco Silva en la voz y el bajo, Enrique "Pico" Ego Aguirre en la guitarra, Nicolás Mantani en la batería y Juan Carlos Caipo en los teclados, y también la banda de Julio Caipo, compuesta por el propio Julio Caipo en la voz y guitarra, Augusto López en el bajo, Pepe Vilogrón en la batería y Andrés Landavere en los teclados. Los primeros ya tenían un simple editado por Fono Video que contenía Exterminio y Radar de amor, primer sencillo de Pax interpretado íntegramente en nuestro idioma, ambos temas sonaban fuerte en las emisoras locales; en el caso de Julio Caipo, aún no tenía disco en el mercado, pero sí había registrado su primer tema en cinta, titulado Explosión y revolución. Ambas agrupaciones tenían un estilo similar, muy influenciado por el hard rock.

Al año siguiente Mauricio Alcántara, por entonces gerente general de Radio Panamericana propone a los integrantes de las dos bandas unirse en una sola para actuar en la Más Más del Verano 1986 tocando las canciones más populares en la citada emisora en ese tiempo. Por Pax lo hacen el tecladista Juan Carlos Caipo y el cantante y bajista Coco Silva y por la banda de Julio Caipo lo hacen el batero Vilogrón y el mismo Julio en guitarra, compartiendo la voz principal con Coco. De esta manera surge el proyecto "El Mix" ese mismo año y, además de participar en los espéctaculos organizados por la otrora Radio Rock, graban su primer y único tema propio llamado Blancas ilusiones, este es compuesto por Julio Caipo y Coco Silva y en él alternan las voces. Este sencillo es editado en Marzo de 1986 por el sello CBS Discos, en el lado B del mismo es lanzado Explosión y revolución, tema que Julio Caipo había impuesto el año anterior y que sería un adelanto del LP que Caipo editaría al año siguiente.

Como era de esperarse, Blancas ilusiones se convierte en un hit durante el Verano 86, ubicándose en el puesto 28 de las 30 Más Más del Verano en Radio Panamericana. Tras el éxito, Mix sigue presentandose en varios shows más tocando covers y algunas composiciones de sus líderes. El proyecto "El Mix" llega a su fin ese mismo 1986 cuando Julio Caipo y Coco Silva deciden retomar sus respectivas carreras en solitario, lo mismo hace el tecladista Juan Carlos Caipo quien luego da vida a S.O.S y Pepe Vilogrón vuelve a tocar con Julio. Para 1987, las cabezas del ya fenecido proyecto estaban dedicadas a sus propios grupos: Coco forma Sociedad Anónima junto al guitarrista Luis Salazar y el baterista Armando Pattroni lanzando un 45rpm que contenía Al revés de todo; Julio edita por fin su primer largo epónimo del cual sobresale De la nada a la nada. En 1988, y cuando S.A. se había desintegrado, Silva propone a Caipo, que también había dejado de tocar y cantar para dedicarse a la producción musical retomar El Mix, pero no llegan a ningun acuerdo.

Christian reminds me of an amazing man I know/knew, in looks and what seems like his personality type. He was an AMAZING husband, father, provider, upstanding and beloved member of the community until his death at 80 years old. He was very soft spoken, kind, gentle but strong. He had a wonderful quiet strength. He was a former NFL player but he never boasted about his accomplishments (his wonderful, outgoing wife did that for him:). I met he and his wife because they were administrators at a school where I taught.

OWN FEEDBACK: Nephew Tommy is the perfect host for the show, just perfect! He offers a practical perspective that the shows participants and viewers can learn develop and grow from - The gift of exaltation. I like how he teaches and commands respect that participants give and show one another more from their choice of words and exchanges with one another and that the show is not turning into - no disrespect a love and hip hop boxing throwing drinks fighting match. - Season 1 was best season the staff and producers and editors need to return. Season 3 the Editing sucks everything just doesn't flow seamlessly its dicey. The casting director sucks to they try time again to mimic new cast members from seasons prior if they felt it brought ratings instead of selecting participants Ready to Love - participants are less and less compatible.. .Another bash for the editor or director there needs to be someone that needs to oversee the backdrop of these sets when cast are eating or on dates the restaurants are trashed dirty dishes everywhere its distracting why between sets someone to clean that mess up or clean as they're entertaining one another - terrible! I think it would be helpful if you would consider or take a survey from subscribers of OWN or somehow solicit feedback this will give you consistent favorable ratings to keep show relevant and successful otherwise your just going to blend in with all the other shows and fizzle away doing anything just for ratings

This season of Ready to Love seems authentic like the first two episodes so far 👍🏼. Looks like a good group of people who genuinely want to make a connection. I did not like season 3 because it came across like fake reality tv show drama to me. Please keep this show authentic.

I feel a few of the women are really attractive but their personalities are a turn off. As a man I can appreciate a pretty face, however I appreciate a cool personality even more. As soon as some of them open their mouth you can instantly see why they are single, unwed, and will remain so.
