The tabby wakes up and then continues walking until it comes across a tree in the sidewalk and climbs it to the top. When it gets to the top, it appears that many spaceships are hovering over the city, indicating that, presumably, the tabby is not alone and that there may be other outcast kittens like itself, deposited in the same way throughout the world.
