The first time I watched this music video, it was back in July 2006 and I was 10. It was the first time I connected to a music video and a song, even though I didn't know English at the time. This reminds me of something super sad when I was little.

When I was little, I used to play with my sister a lot, then, she began making friends.
At first, she still played with me, but then she slowly began to ignore me, which made me really sad. I tried to talk to her but she kept ignoring me, kind of like how the people in the vid were ignoring the aliens, I kept trying to get her attention for YEARS.
Then she finally did, but it was small. Then she never interacted with me again. Same with my parents..
Didn’t bring down my self-esteem, thankfully.
