3. Modus is an independent electronic / experimental producer from Northern California.
4. Modus is an Alternative / Indie / Progressive-Rock band from NY, USA.
5. Under the same name, also a Scottish mod band.
Modus is the sort of band that makes accurate description difficult. They manage to create a sound that is totally unique to themselves. One does catch glimpses of their progressive influences such as Genesis/Peter Gabriel. This band certainly has the knack for creative song-writing in that one song may have a jazzy vibe with soul, while another song surprises you with it’s heaviness and raw emotion. Despite the varying styles, the music manages to maintain it’s continuity. Fans of Tool, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and Genesis will definitely get into this.
6. Under the name too, a lithuainian dark electronica band.

Dievčatá - máte v sebe krehkosť váz
Z kaluže a do blata
Za nos vedú nás
Dievčatá
Dievčatá - ani neviem, čí som dnes
Dievčatá - pre vás strácam hlavu z pliec
Za nos vedú nás
Dievčatá
Dievčatá - máte tajné chodníčky (máte tajné chodníčky)
Dievčatá - pred vami sme maličkí (áno, maličkí)
Z kaluže a do blata
Za nos vedú nás
Dievčatá, pre vás už hlavu strácam (óó, dievčatá)
Dievčatá, pre vás už hlavu strácam (óó, dievčatá)
Dievčatá, pre vás už hlavu strácam (óó, dievčatá)

Dievčatá
The song "Dievčatá" by Modus explores the impact that girls have on the singer and the vulnerability that comes with being captivated by them. The chorus repetitively emphasizes the swirling effect that the girls have on the singer, as their presence is overwhelming and causes a sense of disorientation. The phrase "hlavy sa nám krútia z vás" directly translates to "our heads spin because of you," metaphorically suggesting the dizzying effect that the girls have on the singer. This imagery portrays the power and allure that girls possess and the influence they have over the singer.
The lyrics also touch upon the fragility that the girls carry within themselves. The line "máte v sebe krehkosť váz" translates to "you have fragility within you like vases." This comparison implies that girls are delicate and easily breakable, emphasizing their vulnerability. The singer recognizes this vulnerability and acknowledges the need to handle the girls with care. It suggests that the girls' fragility is part of what makes them captivating and deserving of attention.
The repetition of the phrase "Z kaluže a do blata za nos vedú nás" throughout the song signifies the control and influence that the girls have over the singer. It translates to "from puddles and into the mud, you lead us by the nose." The metaphorical reference to puddles and mud implies that the singer is willingly entering into messy and unpredictable situations because of the girls. This line suggests that the girls have the power to lead the singer astray and manipulate their actions, highlighting their ability to captivate and control.
The last section of the song amplifies the idea of the girls' power over the singer. The repetition of "pre vás už hlavu strácam" translates to "for you, I am already losing my head." This phrase reveals the extent to which the singer is willing to sacrifice for the girls, emphasizing the level of fascination and devotion they inspire. It showcases the singer's willingness to abandon rational thinking and become completely infatuated with the girls, further highlighting their allure and hold over him. Overall, "Dievčatá" explores the intoxicating effect and vulnerability that girls possess, while simultaneously acknowledging their power and control over the singer.
