3. Modus is an independent electronic / experimental producer from Northern California.
4. Modus is an Alternative / Indie / Progressive-Rock band from NY, USA.
5. Under the same name, also a Scottish mod band.
Modus is the sort of band that makes accurate description difficult. They manage to create a sound that is totally unique to themselves. One does catch glimpses of their progressive influences such as Genesis/Peter Gabriel. This band certainly has the knack for creative song-writing in that one song may have a jazzy vibe with soul, while another song surprises you with it’s heaviness and raw emotion. Despite the varying styles, the music manages to maintain it’s continuity. Fans of Tool, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and Genesis will definitely get into this.
6. Under the name too, a lithuainian dark electronica band.

All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder, when they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder, when they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Have you ever had the feeling
That you was being had
Don't that shit that make you mad
They treat you like a slave,
With chains all on your soul,
And put whips up on your back,
They be lying through they teeth
Hope you slip up off your path
I don't switch up I just laugh
Put my kicks up on they desk
Unaffected by they threats
Than get busy on they ass
See that's how that Chi-Town made me
That's how my daddy raised me
That glittering may not be gold,
Don't let nobody play me
If you are my homeboy,
You never have to pay me
Go on and put your hands up,
When times are hard you stand up
L-U-P the man, 'cause a brand that the fans trust
So even if they ban us
They'll never slow my plans up!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
One in the air for the people that ain't here
Two in the air for the father that's there
Three in the air for the kids in the ghetto
Four for the kids who don't wanna be there
None for the niggas trying to hold them back
Five in the air for the teacher not scared
To tell those kids that's living in the ghetto
That the niggas holdin' back that the world is theirs!
Yeah yeah, the world is yours,
I was once that little boy
Terrified of the world
Now I'm on a world tour
I will give up everything,
Even start a world war
For these ghettos girls and boys I'm rapping round' the world for!
Africa to New York,
Haiti then I detour,
Oakland out to Auckland
Gaza Strip to Detroit,
Say hip-hop only destroy
Tell em' look at me, boy!
I hope your son don't have a gun and never be a D-boy
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
So no matter what you been through
No matter what you into
No matter what you see
When you look outside your window
Brown grass or green grass
Picket fence or barbed wire
Never ever put them down
You just lift your arms higher
Raise 'em 'til your arms tired
Let em' know you're there
That you struggling and survivin'
That you gonna persevere yeah,
Ain't no body leavin',
No body goin' home
Even if they turn the lights out the show is goin' on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Alright, already the show goes on
All night, till the morning we dream so long
Anybody ever wonder,
When they would see the sun up
Just remember when you come up
The show goes on!
Modus's song "Modus 1" is a motivational anthem about perseverance and pushing through challenges. The "show" in the lyrics refers to life itself and the challenges it presents. The song starts with "Alright, already the show goes on" meaning that life goes on no matter what happens, and we have to keep moving forward. This is followed by "All night, till the morning we dream so long" indicating that even amidst struggles, we have to keep dreaming and hoping for a brighter future.
The song touches on the struggles of being oppressed and marginalized, with lines like "They treat you like a slave, with chains all on your soul" and "Hope you slip up off your path". However, the lyrics also remind listeners to stay strong and not let anyone play them. The chorus, "Just remember when you come up, the show goes on!" is a reminder to keep pushing through, even when things get tough.
The song also features references to Lupe Fiasco's upbringing in Chicago, and his desire to give back to his community through his music. He talks about the importance of empowering the youth, with lines like "For these ghettos girls and boys I'm rapping round' the world for!"
Overall, "Modus 1" is a powerful and inspiring song that encourages listeners to never give up and to keep striving towards their dreams.

Some people think that this song is about someone who s being put through many expectations, which ended up with them feeling like a machine.
But to me, it sounds like someone who is in a relationship and both sides are trying really hard to make it work. But there is a third party that sabotaged it by giving a lot of expectations to them, causing the side who is singing to feel not strong enough for their lover even though they are happy with them.
