Definitely liking that classic early 90s-style 'filthy' guitar tone...(so tired of bright, polished, and sterile sounding modern BM). Even the synth style sounds vintage!! The snare drum could've been a bit higher in the mix but besides that, an over-all impressive release!!

So this is definitely the best black metal FULL LENGTH I have heard so far this year. Thank you Moenen of Xezbeth for your devotion to this art. This could have come out in 1992, I hear shades of Varathron, Baxaxaxa, Malfeitor, Samael, A Blaze.., Zemial maybe a better version of Beelzebub and the first Throne of Ahaz demo.

I still listen here waves of Samael and Rotting Christ/Monumantum split EP - both bands from this release. Baxaxaxa?? Hell yeeeah, who's remeber Baxaxaxa?!... Rotting Christ - Satanas Tedeum.. This album of MoX is more varient than demo, still great and in old vain.

Now this is atmosphere. Simple, basic and heavy. This is some of the most refreshing music to come along in quite a while. Wonder why more bands don't quit following trends and step out like this band and blaze new paths? Could it be most are not talented enough to come up with new ideas for unique music?
