With vocalist Alfonso Pichardo, and keyboardists Jorge Soto and Alexander Midi Ortega, Moenia has released over ten albums on Universal Latino and RCA Records Label. Former vocalist Juan Carlos Lozano has recently created a new project called Morbo produced by the same producer of the band Placebo.
Moenia's latest album, StereoHits, is a compilation and interpretation of successful 80s and 90s latin hits such as "En Algun Lugar" by Duncan Dhu, "Tren Al Sur" by Los Prisioneros, and "Ni Tu Ni Nadie" by Alaska y Dinarama. The album was originally intended to be something that kept fans content while the group worked on their next album but became so popular that it was soon followed by a tour.
No Importa Que El Sol Se Muera
Moenia Lyrics

Los dos nos quedamos con ganas de amor
Nunca supimos bien que fue
Lo que nos separo
¿A quien culpar?
¿Has sido tu o yo?
¿O alguien que esta detrás?
Yo siempre estaré pensando en ti
Si la luna llora por amor
Yo llorare con ella por ti
Ya no me queda mas que recordar
Fotografías que no puedo escuchar
Solo en tus cartas leo
Alguna ilusión
Que por un mal deseo
Nunca se cumplió
No importa que el sol se muera
Yo siempre estaré pensando en ti
Si la luna llora por amor
Yo llorare con ella por ti
Pensando en ti
The lyrics of Moenia's song No Importa Que El Sol Se Muera can be interpreted as a love story that ended abruptly and without closure. The first verse suggests that their time together was short, but they both wanted more love from each other. Unfortunately, they were never able to determine what caused their separation, which prompts the singer to question who is to blame - themselves or someone else. The chorus repeats the message that it does not matter what happens or how far apart they may be, the singer will always think of their lost love, even if the world were to end.
The second stanza describes the aftermath of their separation, with the singer left to remember their time together through photographs and letters. However, the love they shared is only expressed through written words and imagined scenarios that never came to fruition. The chorus repeats once again, highlighting the singer's dedication to their lost love regardless of their current situation.

Muy buena versión. Es una de las canciones que más me gusta de Moenia y el toque femenino de María José le da un súper toque con su voz y belleza ;)
