Na Tu Zameen Ke Liye

Hai Na Aasman Ke Liye
Tera Wajood Hai
Tera Wajood Hai
Ab sirf Daastan Ke Liye
Palat Ke Sou-e-Chuman
Dekhne se kya hoga
Woh Shaakh hi naa rahiJo thi aashiaana Ke liye
na tu zameen ke liye
Garaz Parast Jahan Mein
Wafa talash na kar
Yeh Sheh bani thi kisi
Doosere Jahaan ke liye
Tera wajood hai
Tera Wajood hai
ab Daastan ke liye
Na Tu zameen ke liye
The lyrics of the song "Na Tu Zameen Ke Liye" by Mohammed Rafi express a sense of detachment and a longing for meaning in life. The singer talks about how neither the earth nor the sky can define his existence, but it does exist nonetheless, only for the sake of retelling his story. The lines "Palat Ke Sou-e-Chuman, Dekhne se kya hoga, Woh Shaakh hi naa rahi, Jo thi aashiaana Ke liye" evoke a sense of loss and regret, as the singer realizes that what he was holding onto as his home and shelter no longer exists.
The song takes a philosophical approach to the question of existence, urging the listener not to search for truth in the material world but to look beyond it. The lines "Garaz Parast Jahan Mein, Wafa talash na kar, Yeh Sheh bani thi kisi, Doosere Jahaan ke liye" encourage a deeper understanding of oneself and the universe, beyond the limitations of this world. In essence, the song speaks to the idea that our existence is not defined by the physical world, but rather by our own individual experiences and the relationships we build throughout our lives.
