Le chal mujhe kahin door
Yahaan se door.yahaan se door.
Kho jaayenge phir kahin
Rou aayenge phir wahin
Aankhein tujhe ye dhoondein kahin
Ab aaja sata na, tu aaja sata na
Aye humnawa tu khoya kahaan
Aankhein tujhe ye dhoondhein kahin
Kho jaayenge phir kahin
Rou aayenge phir wahin
Lo chal pade, lo hum chal pade
Tere sang, tere sang, tere sang
Bhaag jaayenge phir kahin
Laut aayenge phir wahin
The song "Le Chal Mujhe" by Mohit Chauhan is an emotional ballad about the desire to escape and find oneself. The lyrics speak of wanting to be taken away to a distant place, far from where the singer currently is. The repetition of the phrase "yahaan se door" (far from here) emphasizes this desire for distance, both physical and emotional. The singer fears that if they don't leave, they will lose themselves and end up crying in the same place they started from. The lines "teri chahaton mein phirun baawra" (I'll wander in your desires, oh crazy one) suggest that the singer is looking for someone to guide them, to help them find their way.
The stanza "lo chal pade, lo hum chal pade," translates to "let's go, let's go together." This line shows that whoever the singer is singing to, it's important they come along for the journey. The repeated phrase "kho jaayenge phir kahin" (we'll get lost somewhere) suggests that this journey is not necessarily about finding a specific destination, but rather getting lost in the journey itself.
Overall, the song portrays a feeling of restlessness and longing for something more. It's about wanting to escape the mundane and find a deeper meaning in life, even if it means getting lost along the way.
