She's a smart girl. Refusing to play babysitter, which is refusing to enable her mothers child abuse. I have 3 boys and never once could I even fathom leaving them alone. Or asking the oldest to watch the siblings. That’s not their job. If their age ends in -teen they aren’t an adult. If you need a babysitter then hire one, you can’t afford one? Stay home or take the entire household with you like the rest of us have to do. Minors cannot be left alone.

I cared for two siblings from the time I was age 6 to age 14. From their births to age 4 while my so-called mother ran the streets. I changed diapers, feed them, warmed bottles, bathed them, dressed them, put them down for naps and bedtime, and took them everywhere I would go and play in my neighborhood from age 11-14. They were basically my kids. We would be left with my grandma but she refused to baby sit them. Some people should not have kids.

This 'mother' has 5 children, does NOT take care of the 3 children that live with her but they are 'taken care' by her 15 year-old daughter most of the nights with NO FOOD. The 'father' of the 3 children does NOT care either.
