She started music at a very early age. When she was 13 she joined the Music Conservatory in Viña del Mar where she studied singing and music for four years. During this time, she also sang in several stages, and was a contestant on the Chilean TV show called "Rojo, Fama Contra Fama" as Monserrat Bustamante.
In 2003, she released "La chica de rojo", achieving platinum status. With this album she conquered several Latin American countries. In 2009 she released the single called "Lo mismo que yo"; this song became one of the top tracks in Chilean radios.
In 2011 she released her first album under the stage name of "Mon Laferte", acquiring a brand new style both musically and visually. She currently lives in Mexico. At the time, she has recorded 8 studio albums, winning multiple records and awards.

@@danielaliendo3479 No hay nada más rico cuando hace ese frío que cala los huesos que tomarse un navegado en un tazón que calienta las manos y todo el cuerpo.Esta receta es más bien una sugerencia de ideas y cantidades, el navegado chileno permite muchas libertades con las medidas y los sabores, así que háganlo con lo que tengan a mano, siempre queda rico y recomponedor. Como en todas las recetas antiguas hay muchas variaciones, hay casas donde no dejan hervir el vino, otras donde lo prenden (flambean) para reducir el alcohol. Solo tengan cuidado y disfruten
NAVEGADO CHILENO
para 6 personas
Ingredientes:
2 botellas de vino tinto, merlot o cabernet sauvignon
1 naranja grande o 2 medianas
3 palitos de canela
5 clavos de olor
1- 1 1/2 tazas de azúcar, a gusto
Preparación
Rebanar las naranjas de medio cm. Insertar los clavos de olor en el borde, para que no queden dando vueltas.
En una olla mediana colocar el vino, el azúcar, las naranjas y los palitos de canela.
Calentar a fuego medio, revolviendo ocasionalmente hasta que suelte el hervor. Reducir el fuego y dejar hervir suavemente por 3 minutos.
Servir caliente en tazones con o sin los palitos de canela y las naranjas.
