She sings a combination of afro-pop and neo-soul. Some of her hit songs include Pretty Disaster and Is'bhanxa.
The musician's grandmother is originally from Lesotho and made history as the first woman to become a self-made female millionaire in Mthatha in 1976. Moneoa herself moved to Durban with her mother after growing up in Mthatha.
The musician is also an actress. She starred on Rhythm City soapie in 2015 as Jesse. She has also made guest appearances on popular television shows like Karektas, The Bantu Hour, The Remix SA, Clash of The Choirs, SAMAs, and others. Her first movie is called Back of The Moon, which was released in 2019. She played the role of Eve, a singing sensation.
