In 2006 they released Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain, a five-part sojourn of neoclassical grace and luminescence that defies lazy categorization. As dark as the bottom of the ocean and nearly as otherworldly, "Palmless" finds Mono inhabiting a magical world previously only hinted at in their most orchestral compositions.
Forgoing their tendency to erupt into hellish bursts of speaker-destroying noise, Mono instead exhibits remarkable restraint, stretching song lengths past the 15-minute mark, turning subtle crescendos into earth-shaking events. This record is a miniature panoramic view of the sea on an eerily still day, the current swaying at an impossibly lazy pace, and the sound of a thousand tiny waves crashing all at once.

Good Timing
I believe this is one of the best album closers I have ever heard. The album progresses with very gloomy and murky songs and ends with this song that sounds like carrying a ray of hope, that after every sadness and tragedy, there will always be a promise of tomorrow that everything will be just fine, as long as we keep moving. Of course everyone can have their own meanings to this album/song, but at least it is what I always imagine when hearing this for the last 10 years.

Since 2005 I've been for a lot but always came here to remind me what's the meaning of my life, 15 years and still feel this requiem in my veins, no matter how we pretend, this is a goodbye theme, a goodbye song, and I really wouldnt like to wake up in this earth... How I wish to be in a different place, a different heaven, I don't belong here.
