Monocordio Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics of Monocordio's song "Siento" express a deep sense of transformation and the realization of a profound connection between two individuals. The singer portrays a heightened awareness of their surroundings and emotions, suggesting that something significant is happening within their relationship.
In the first verse, the singer emphasizes their ability to feel this change when they look at the other person. This line suggests a strong bond, an intuitive understanding that goes beyond words. It implies that their connection transcends the physical and taps into a spiritual level.
The second verse continues to explore the passage of time and the evolution of their relationship. The singer acknowledges that they have changed, as if time has molded them into different versions of themselves. Yet, they confess to not perceiving this gradual transformation and becoming until now.
The chorus delves into the singer's previous disbelief that they would be able to experience a certain "place" together. This place could refer to an emotional state, a level of intimacy, or even a physical location. However, the singer now recognizes that being in the presence of their loved one surpasses any expectations. They express that their happiness is incomparable to anything else when they are together, especially when they witness the sun setting and disappearing beneath the sea.
The bridge suggests that simply having the other person nearby is not enough to truly find them; rather, they need to delve into themselves and actively search for their loved one within. This line promotes self-reflection and introspection as necessary elements in understanding and maintaining a profound connection.
Overall, "Siento" explores the powerful emotions that come with recognizing significant changes in oneself and in a relationship. It highlights the importance of being present, actively seeking understanding, and cherishing the moments of connection with a loved one. The lyrics beautifully capture the depth and evolution of love, inviting listeners to reflect on their own emotions and connections.
