MONOSORONI is an acoustic band.which follows by its lyrics and music at the same time.Their music patterns mix up with blues and jazz and alternative rock also.They want to break the limit and all barricades and traditional practice in Bangladeshi band music and lyrics and composition.They took it as challenge.

MONOSORONI is an acoustic band, which feels proximity of the soul towards all the slaves, and starts up singing: Which species do I belong to, humankind or slaves? That's why we see in their songs the language of Blues and Jazz.
Two founder members of MONOSORONI are
Probar Ripon (Main Vocal, Guitarist, Composer)
and
Muiz Mahfuz (Lead Guitarist, Vocal and Composer),
both of them are brilliant poets of the first decade of this 21st century.

SHARIF is the violinist, who is an active member of a prominent theatre group PRACHCHONAT in Bangladesh.
They consider their songs musical poems and think that the report of an artist's geo-political presence could be language and the medium itself. MONOSORONI speaks in a poetic language and shouts through singing. MONOSORONI leaves their statement, which is part of both abstract and concrete realities. They are against the Third World's blind plagiarism after the West, against the singing of songs highbrow and without any message and against the musical practice of folk songs in the Western cover in the name of salvaging this regional culture. Because they know pretty well that the subalterns don't run after art to be recognized by the middle class, rather do so for life. It's interesting that sometimes they themselves don't know they are artists themselves!
But it doesn't mean that MONOSORONI gives too much priority to singing songs filled with messages, rather it adopts the bohemian nature of the mind. They don't know when the songs regarded as only poetic songs at this moment will have the status of protests somewhere.
They are moving on the silent road of the minds of theirs, yours and mine, without having to have any permission from anywhere.
