Ya... great tune for sure! I would also like to find a copy of Decca 7522, "Big Joe Louis b/w The Numbers Man" also by Jack Sneed. Billy Kyle was the pianist for the Sneezers on these sides (Decca 7522 & 7566). Kyle also played in the bands of Bradshaw and Millinder before joining the John Kirby Sextet (1938-1942). Kyle freelanced, working fairly often with Sy Oliver. He joined Louis Armstrong's All-Stars in 1953 and was there for nearly 13 years until his death.

DJGIBS, Phil Madison is my uncle. Just learned this fact and am doing research. Do you have any other songs by him?
@TheRealDJGIBS
outlawmonk68 let me dig a lil'... but I can tell you he composed the following; "Send She Back To She Ma" (I know Lord Fly does a Jamaican mento version thatΒ includesΒ "Take she back to she muma"), "The Old Maid", "Neighbour Next Door" (I think Pretender or someone covered it in the late '40s or '50s)Β and the famous "Caroni Swamp". His compositions were all recorded on Victor in the early '20s! Now that's old school!

Mongooses aren't THAT bad.
BTW, beginning @ 0:52 to 0:54, did I hear the lyrics correctly?
Sounded like a sexual innuendo about some anatomy described as, "look like it somethin'".
