Their music is a fusion of house, dance, drum and bass, jazz, world, and classical music. In the past year or so, they have made a mark on their listeners (and general passersby) in the city by playing in public places (like Central Park, Brooklyn subway stations, etc.), and will be joining Mike Doughty on his fall 2011 tour. The audience reaction in the video when they start playing the track is exactly what happened the first time I heard these guys open for TMBG last year.
First there was the WTF face, followed by one or 2 getting it, and then BOOM, a full on audience sold on this band. I'm off to buy the new record!

Shane Trusty - Same feeling when first saw them at the Great Blue Heron- Night Lights. First couple songs dont even think I moved and was like "what is this?" and then it hits you. Been a fan ever since. If anyone has the chance to see live the energy is off the charts.
