1) Moonchild are an American neo-soul/jazz trio formed at the University of Southern California in LA by Amber Navran (vocals, saxophone), Andris Mattson (trumpet, keys) and Max Bryk (saxophone, keys). Moonchild released their debut album Be Free in 2012 & was signed by UK electronic label Tru Thoughts, who re-released sophomore album Please Rewind in 2015 and third album Voyager in 2017. Influenced by J Dilla, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, and Flying Lotus, Moonchild's signature smooth sounds have found fans in the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, and Jazzy Jeff.
2) MOONCHILD is a 5 member girlgroup under CDL Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Japan, co-produced by Hybe Labels Japan who debuted on May 3rd, 2023.
The member are Ruan, Uwa, Hana, Mirano and Anri.

@Placesandspaces35 haha..that's funny. She does look like she could be like that shy accountant. I guess that's one of the things that make Moonchild so special. They're nothing like the stereotypical or traditional look of a soul r&b band from the past. Eventhough the sound is sultry, you wont see them in laying back in flashy cars poping champagne or sporting diamonds or Amber in some booty shorts and low cut revealing blouse. She, the group are just too sophisticated for that and they're being themselves...but that fire and neosoul burns within them is real bright. Their style is mad dope.
