Aw man, I stumbled across this and can say it struck up memories of being 4-5 years old in 1976-1977 and hearing it at family parties. When Melba recorded this song and it became the rage in 1976 and the album came out Van McCoy was on the roll with this talent. I have the second album he did with Melba and I have to say he was tapping into this wonder of a vocalist and magic was being made. Sadly Van McCoy died so young and the magic between he and Melba was no more.
