1) Moose were a British indie rock band who formed in London in 1990. While tagged as the original shoegazer band, and certainly their earliest singles were, they evolved into something distinctly their own - a woozy, lush and orchestral brand of pop.

Moose released two EPs on Hut Records. Within the next few years the band would release two more full-length albums on Play It Again Sam. Despite a strong critical response, Moose’s albums continued to sell few copies. Following the release of their third album, Live a Little Love a Lot, Moose took an extended break from music only to return five years later with the release of High Ball Me! in 2000. The band broke up soon after.

I went to see Elk up at Estes Park, CO a while ago and the first time I heard the male Elk calling the females (when I saw the Elk open his mouth), I burst out laughing because I was expecting a really LOW sound and it was so high and squeaky! I guess it goes a LONG way though, and it IS very unique.

In a modded Skyrim game, I played a witch and mainly turned people into animals thanks to a mod spell. I remember once turning an entire Stormcloak camp into beasts, and that was the first time I ever heard an elk’s bugle. I had no idea they could make such a freaky sound, and I thought I had stumbled onto some kind of new monster or something. The animals stay aggressive towards you forever, and hearing multiple instances of that sound coming from the wooded mountains is still spooky.

My family and I were staying in telluride Colorado for 4 days,on the last day we were driving past a golf course and elk were everywhere!The biggest bull was 13 point smallest was a 10 we stopped for little bit to look at them.But we heard a lot of that 😂

There are no Elk in my country and after playing RDR2 I HAD to look it up, they make very surreal sounds, Sci fi like. Cool and scary at the same time.

You are lucky to be exposed to their language. Most guys just throw sounds out in the woods. They actually have a language. A guy called elk nut lays it out. Check it out. It will validate what you heard. I would pay lots to live somewhere like that for a season

As someone who has spent many a dark mornings in the mountains listening to rutting elk bugle like crazy, I don't understand how it could be terrifying? That just seems silly but I guess as a hunter I may have a biased opinion. Regardless, Wapiti deserve better then weird videos like this.

I hear the elk sounds in almost EVERY "documentary" about big foot noises lol. I hear this elk noise AND the noise of foxes. and both are active at night still. elk maybe not so much but if their babies run off they use this ype of call to find them. amd then the babies call back with a different noise.. so ill those noises that people hear in the woods are animals. there was a video I wat hed with someone hesring a loud "tuning fork" over head or some type of what they thought was a loud "metal screatching" noise and that is ALSO just an elk. no big foots out there guys. just some elk and foxes that you all dont know the sounds of very good so let your imaginations go crazy about it being a "big foot".. I bet it was way way back in the years when someone got scared when they heard thise noises and just made up the big foot story after they heard those animals and had NO IDEA what they where do just made something up that was scary because I know if your a person who DOESN'T KNOW what elk and/or a fox sound like then yeah it WILL SCARE the 💩 out of you...and the human imagination will run wild! lol
