A year later the family moved to Denroy's homeland of Jamaica. In this period, three family members left the group. In Jamaica, Morgan Heritage began working with famed reggae producers Bobby Dixon and Lloyd James, resulting in the release of the critically acclaimed album Protect Us Jah (1997), followed by One Calling (1998), and the spiritually-inclined Don't Haffi Dread (1999). They released two albums by "The Morgan Heritage Family and Friends", and the Live in Europe! album recorded on their 2000 tour. Morgan Heritage toured in Europe again following the release of their 2001 album More Teachings... Their sixth studio album, Three in One, came out in 2003. They have released two DVD`s (Live In London and Live Over Europe 2003) with good success and "Full Circle" (2005)
There is a sibling band called L.M.S which is more hip-hop influenced without a band, that often tours with them and is a part of their family, as well as their father Denroy Morgan.
They are one of the most influential reggae bands today, returned to Jamaica and opened studio and realised 3 complilations of "Morgan Heritage Family and Friends" creating their own rhytms.
They have cooperated with most reggae bands and DJs (MCs) of today including Capleton, Luciano, Gentleman, Beres Hammond etc.

And them crying
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
So we're here sending a message
How many times do we have to see
Our brothers die in street?
From a bullet by another brother
Trying to find food to eat
Just to survive we've gotta be enemies
That is how we get defeat
So that's why we're delivering this message
To every leader in the world
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
How many times should we hear the voice
Of mothers cry and weep
Because they can't assist
The needs of their own youths in the community
Our people cry and ask for help
Still you don't care about their needs
I hope to see a change someday
This is to every leader in the world
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
Wa, yoy, wa, yoy, wa, yoy, wa, yoy
They're wailing, their wailing
Wa, yoy, wa, yoy, wa, yoy, wa, yoy
They're wailing, their wailing
The people are wailing
How many times do we have to see
Our brothers die in street?
From a bullet by another brother
Trying to find food to eat
Just to survive we've gotta be enemies
That is how we get defeat
So that's why we're delivering this message
To every leader in the world
We heard the voices crying out
In the valley asking for help
And we're their only hope
So we're here sending a message
The lyrics of Morgan Heritage's song Jump Around deal with the struggles that people face in impoverished and violent communities. The song highlights the issues of crime, poverty, and lack of leadership within vulnerable communities. The first verse talks about hearing the "voices crying out in the valley asking for help" which sets up the theme of the song. The second verse builds on this theme by asking how many times people have to see their brothers die from violence and how many times mothers have to cry because they can't provide for their children. The chorus repeats the message that the people of these communities are "wailing" and need help and that the leaders of the world are their only hope.
The song is a call to action for leaders to do something about the struggles that people in poverty face. The lyrics emphasize that in order to make change, leaders need to address the root causes of these issues, such as poverty and lack of access to resources like food and education. The song encourages people to come together and support each other, rather than turning to violence and seeing each other as enemies. Ultimately, the lyrics are a message of hope that change is possible if leaders take the needs of vulnerable communities seriously.
