The lyrics of the song "I Want" by Morning Show are quite cryptic at first glance. However, upon closer inspection, it can be seen that the song is about a rather complicated relationship. The first verse seems to suggest that the lead singer doesn't understand what the other person is saying but is still attracted to them. The lines "I want you" are repeated throughout the song, almost as if the singer is trying to convince themselves of their own desire.
The second verse takes a darker turn, with the suggestion of alcoholism and the realization that drinking will not solve the problem. However, despite this realization, the singer still wants the other person. This is followed by a sort of a threat - the singer is watching the other person, and they will kill again.
