1) Moses are an alternative folk band based around brothers Paul & David Mosley.
Formed in 1998 their debut single 'No-one's home' was playlisted by BBC Radio 2 and the parent album 'The Swimming Zoo' was one of BBC 6musics albums of the year.
Touring everywhere from Glastonbury to the Royal Festival Hall via an Amsterdam Brothel and with everyone from Shane MacGowan to Mistys Big Adventure they gave show stealing performances at festivals aorund Europe. The second album 'Golden Flatts' and mini album 'Django' saw them expand their acoustic guitar and 2 voices sound to incororate more of the cello, horns and mandolins that had become part of their live set.
The 'classic' Moses line up is:
Paul Mosley: singing, piano, melodica, percussion
David Mosley, singing, guitars
Colin Smith: guitars, bass, singing, flute
Gav Fawcett: drums, percussion
Harriet Davidson: cello
Katy Dent: violin
Sophie Traves: singing
for live gigs they where often joined by Helen Evans: violin
These days Moses mostly produce children but still play occassionally and are recording a new EP for Summer 2009. David Mosley plays live as a solo act and with his band and Paul Mosley continues to release curious lo fi solo albums with a 'garage orchestra' of guest musicians much loved by BBC 6music.

2) Moses was formed in Esbjerg in 1969 The music style is bluesrock, inspired by Cream, Jimmi Hindrix Experince and Steppeulvene. The band only played there own songs. The original record have had a huge success on the net, in april 2006 it was sold on Ebay.com for 800$. Moses broke up in 1972 Releases: * Changes, Spectator Records, 1971
3) MOSES have an arsenal of anthems, over eleven million Spotify streams and a reputation of (so far!) winning an audience with every appearance. An unhyped, word of mouth band whose most recent London headline saw music fans travel from as far as Europe for their “arena-in-a-music-bar” live experience. Both of their albums ‘Almost Everything Is Bullshit’ (2020, AntiFragile Music) and ‘I Still Believe! Do You? (2022) have received NOTHING but superlative laden praise. These are uplifting songs to soundtrack the 21st century with hope. MOSES wear their hearts on their sleeve, lyrically, passionately. Let them entertain you, audibly and visually.
Something About You
Moses Lyrics

That out of sight is out of mind
Maybe that's so but I tried to go
And leave you behind, what did I find
I took a trip on the train
And I thought about you,
I passed a shadowy lane
Two or three cars parked under the stars
A winding stream
Moon shining down on some little town
And with each beam, same old dream
At every stop that we made
Oh, I thought about you
But when I pulled down the shade
Then I really felt blue,
I peeked through the crack
And looked at the track
The one going back to you
And what did I do
I thought about you
The lyrics of Something About You by Moses are about the impact of distance on a relationship. The first stanza alludes to the popular expression "out of sight, out of mind," suggesting that when someone is no longer physically present, they are often forgotten. However, the singer thinks he can leave his loved one behind and forget about her, but he realizes that he cannot. He sets off on a train journey hoping to put some distance between them and forget about her, but as the journey progresses, he finds that he cannot shake off his thoughts of her.
The second stanza is a vivid description of the scenery outside the train's window as the singer is lost in thought about his loved one. He sees "two or three cars parked under the stars," "a winding stream," and "moon shining down on some little town." Although the landscape is romantic, it only serves to remind him of his love, making him even more sad and lonely. Despite his desire to move on, he can't stop thinking about her. He peeks out at the track, which is heading back to her, with a sense of regret for his actions. The song is a reflection on the power of feelings and how difficult it can be to let go of someone you love.

Seems that I read, or somebody said
I've heard that when someone is out of sight, they're also out of mind
That out of sight is out of mind
If someone is not seen or heard from, they can easily be forgotten
Maybe that's so but I tried to go
I attempted to put you behind me
And leave you behind, what did I find
But it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be
I took a trip on the train
I went on a journey
And I thought about you,
But the thoughts of you couldn't escape me
I passed a shadowy lane
I crossed paths with a dark alley
And I thought about you,
My mind immediately went back to you
Two or three cars parked under the stars
Several cars parked outside as the stars shone down
A winding stream
A stream that meandered around
Moon shining down on some little town
The moon's glow illuminating a small village
And with each beam, same old dream
The thoughts of you continued to persist
At every stop that we made
At every pause in my journey
Oh, I thought about you
I couldn't shake the feeling of thinking about you
But when I pulled down the shade
When I closed off the world outside
Then I really felt blue,
I felt saddened and alone
I peeked through the crack
I had to take a small peek outside
And looked at the track
I saw the path I had taken
The one going back to you
The one that led me back to you
And what did I do
I realized that despite my journey, I couldn't escape from your thoughts
I thought about you
And ultimately, you were still on my mind
