dance
Motörhead Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

If you want to feel good,
If you want to feel alright,
If you want to shake your stuff,
Get some rock 'n' roll tonight,
Dance, 'til your shoes are hot,
Dance, 'til your nerves are shot,
Dance, give it all you got,
Dance, Dance, ready or not,
If you want to shake it up,
If you want to feel so cool,
Get down with them girls,
Get down you dancing fool,
Dance, 'til your bones are tired,
Dance, 'til you feel inspired,
Dance, get your hormones fired,
Dance, Dance, we're dancing wired

You're jiving feeling right,
You're diving in the crowd,
You're dancing 'til you drop,
Rock 'n' roll music's good and loud,
Dance, you liked your score,
Dance, what you're looking for,

Dance, if you're rich or poor,
Dance, Dance, can't take no more

such an underrated song, one of my favorites by them

@gaelbgalbar9307

Underrated? Motörhead has never been Céline Dion, ahaha!

@studiokopregepru

so true

@mark_beastpriest5539

Such a great Motorhead album. Such a great year for metal in general. 1980 was magic. Ace of Spades, Heaven and Hell, British Steel, Iron Maiden and Back in Black!

@111usul

truly big 5 heavy records

@brommendebeer

Still miss Motörhead and the famous words of Lemmy: "We are Motörhead and play rock and roll". R.I.P. mr. Lemmy Kilmister.

@olliwutzi

That's what I call ROCK 'N ROLL!

@LUR1FAX

The Ace of Spades album is all killed no filler. The title track is actually not my favorite from the album since it's so overplayed. Still really good, but songs like Dance, Jailbait, Fast And Loose, and The Hammer are absolutely awesome.

@tombelanovic7686

All killer, true! But I'd go with Reptile and Chase is Better T.T.C.

@mike287slashm7
