@TryPods I just want to say that Steven Yeun's last name is not pronounced "Yoon". It's actually "Yeon". The "eo" makes a short "u" sound like in the word umbrella. Yeun is spelt 연 (yeon) in Korean and Zach and Kelsey pronounced it as 윤 (yoon) which is completely different.

In the original Space Jam, at least the writers actually tried to make the Toons having a basketball game make sense- their opponents, the aliens, are tiny, so they could never reach the hoop. The basketball game was just a way Bugs tried to outsmart the aliens. But in the new one, it's like the writers didn't even try to make it make sense. Why would Al G challenge one of the best basketball players in the world to something he's the best at???

The title of this episode explains how I felt about the movie…then I compared writers and NONE of the original writers of the 1st Space Jam are on this one. Also, there are 6 (!).

Dear production studios: pair back the amount of writers on a movie. Too many cooks in the kitchen doesn’t always make it good.

That being said, the Looney Tunes made it enjoyable (duh lol) but it’s not a good movie.

Believe it or not, I didn't watch the OG Space Jam until after I watched this one. My aunt wanted to watch this when I was staying over. My cousin and his girlfriend joined us in the living room and we started to watch it. I was so bored. The Michael Jordan joke did make me laugh. Throughout the entire basketball game scene, we just kept playing 'Where's Waldo?' with WB properties. I can't remember what really happened. You'll be happy to know that I did watch Space Jam afterwards. It was SOOOOOO much better than whatever the hell this thing was. I actually had a good time with it

Lebron and I are the same age. I grew up in Canton, OH. Watched Lebron play basketball all through high school. Very fun!! Also he does THE MOST for his hometown of Akron, Oh STILL!! Akron LOVES Lebron!!

You know at about 15:42 Amir said well Lebron's kids aren't basketball players and they're not actosr so that's why they probably weren't in the movie. I'm like actually Lebron's kids are basketball players and being good at acting isn't really required in the movie like this so they could've been in it.

Why are you picking new movies that nobody has had a chance to see yet? Can those really be considered guilty pleasures? Aren't guilty pleasures movies that are older and didn't get any kind of critical acclaim and yet you find yourself going back to watch over and over again?? Enjoy your Podcast and want to watch but there's too many episodes I can't enjoy because I haven't had a chance to see the movie once let alone multiple times 😕
