In 1999 they released their first track in English entitled "Voodoo Man". It resembled a lot songs that Reset and E-Type released in this period. The fourth album 4th Dimension was released in 2000 but failed to succeed (album sold about 1000 copies) and the band split up.
In 2007, Movetron were asked to do a comeback for "Back to Ysäri" tour. Päivi performed alone and the demand for their old singles increased which led the band to consider a real comback. They decided to try it out by redoing an old single. This seemed to work out well so the band started working on new material and signed a deal with Universal Music in autumn 2007. The new single "Ei kenenkään maa" (No man's land) was released prior to the greatest hits album "Irtokarkkeja - Makeimmat hitit", which was chart success peaking #4 in Official Album chart Top-40 and went to sell Gold. A new album, also called "Ei kenenkään maa", was released late 2008. Their latest album "Jatkot" was released in the summer of 2016.

Ding Dong
Movetron Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Jos perjantai ei tulekaan
Saan viikonloppuu vielä päivän odottaa
Sä silloin tuut mua hakemaan
Ch.
Tunnetko sykkeen ding dong?
Sydämein on aivan mahdoton
Naapuritkin kuulla jo voi
Muistatko tunteen ding dong,
Mikä meidät viimein yhteen toi?
Ja sen illan ding dong
Silloin olin sun ja mä sain sut kokonaan.
En nähnyt oo sua pitkään aikaan,
Kun muutit toiseen kaupunkiin
Mä luulin, etten näkisi sua milloinkaan
Nyt sä tuutkin takaisin.
Ch.
The lyrics to Movetron's "Ding Dong" speak of longing and anticipation for a loved one to arrive, punctuated by the sound of a heartbeat - "ding dong". The first verse describes the singer measuring time in their room, waiting for the weekend and for their loved one to come and get them. The chorus then questions whether the listener can feel their heart's "ding dong" rhythm, an almost palpable feeling that the neighbors can hear as well. The second verse reveals that the singer had not seen the loved one for a long time, believing they would never see them again. But now they are returning, and the anticipation and excitement is building.
Overall, the lyrics paint a picture of a powerful and almost overwhelming love, where the sound of the heart beating is felt physically and shared with those around them. It captures the excitement and anticipation of being reunited with someone you love after a long absence, with the sound of the heartbeat acting as a symbol of their connection.

Mä huoneessani mittaan aikaa
I measure time in my room
Jos perjantai ei tulekaan
If Friday doesn't come
Saan viikonloppuu vielä päivän odottaa
I still have to wait a day for the weekend
Sä silloin tuut mua hakemaan
You'll come pick me up then
Tunnetko sykkeen ding dong?
Do you feel the heartbeat ding dong?
Sydämein on aivan mahdoton
My heart is impossible
Ja sen äänen ding dong
And that sound ding dong
Naapuritkin kuulla jo voi
Even the neighbors can hear it
Muistatko tunteen ding dong,
Do you remember the feeling ding dong,
Mikä meidät viimein yhteen toi?
That brought us together in the end?
Ja sen illan ding dong
And that evening ding dong
Silloin olin sun ja mä sain sut kokonaan.
That's when I was yours and I got you completely.
En nähnyt oo sua pitkään aikaan,
It's been a while since I saw you,
Kun muutit toiseen kaupunkiin
When you moved to another city
Mä luulin, etten näkisi sua milloinkaan
I thought I'd never see you again
Nyt sä tuutkin takaisin.
Now you're coming back.
