Recently, his second chapter was released entitled "Hope Dealer”
His lyrical style has been featured on music with legendary Hip Hop artist Cheryl “Salt” James of Salt-N-Pepa Fabo of D4L and Gospel artists Kirk Whalum, Lisa McClendon, Out of Eden, Debra Killings and label mate Canton Jones. Though I found it wasn't deep enough
Now I treat it like a zombie, I'm taking off my head to juggle it
The moral being that I keep it up
Far as analogies go, that was decent but
I hope you know I try to find my equilibrium
Balancing a lot, I see it teeter but
I used to harbour hate, now I only try to keep it love
Then I saw a pic of an angry llama - a spitting image
Did my thinking, severing the pain
To get a hold of yourself you let go of the hate
Time is ticking and life is limited so
Find why you're living or die forgiven
I'm committed to make room and then grow
They wanna dance, it takes two to tango
And I don't know what's up
But I don't wanna front, forgiving what you've done
Said and done, I don't wanna hate
It's all about the love
And I don't wanna hide, I did it all my life
But I don't wanna run
I don't wanna fight, not my life
It's all about the love
Relax man
It happened it matters I guess, but
Turn action to passion instead
When they talk about you, what they actually said
Is that they're hurting deep down
They need to project cause they got a couple demons that are lurking deep down
Learning and it's turning me round, observing me now
I forgive instead of murking these clowns
And I don't know what's up
But I don't wanna front, forgiving what you've done
Said and done, I don't wanna hate
It's all about the love
And I don't wanna hide, I did it all my life
But I don't wanna run
I don't wanna fight, not my life
It's all about the love
The lyrics of Mr. Del's song "All About You" explore the theme of personal growth and choosing love over hate. The artist describes his journey of self-discovery and the transformations he has undergone. He begins by acknowledging his past coping mechanisms of boasting and avoiding emotions. However, he realizes that this approach is not fulfilling, comparing it to a shallow ocean that cannot contain his true emotions. Instead, he decides to confront his emotions head-on, even if it means challenging himself and finding balance in his life.
The artist then reflects on his past anger and resentment, recognizing that harboring hate only brings negativity. He shifts his focus towards love and self-acceptance, choosing to see himself in a different light. This is symbolized by the mention of an angry llama, which represents his previous version filled with negative emotions. By embracing forgiveness and letting go of hatred, he takes control of his life and urges others to do the same.
The chorus emphasizes the artist's desire to be genuine and authentic. He does not want to pretend or hide anymore, but instead, he wants to live a life that is centered around love. He acknowledges that running away or fighting is not the answer, but rather, it is all about embracing love and forgiveness.
