Frizo was born on November 2nd 1984 in Racine Wisconsin and like most musicians started his career in a bedroom recording rig. He often ditched out on high school classes for the sake of making music until finally he dropped out of high school altogether. Even at such an early time in his career, he knew exactly what he wanted to do and how he was going to do it.
Instead of graduating with his class in 2004, Frizo teamed up with fellow classmate/friend Andreas Oliver, who also held an interest in making music. But more than making music, Andreas (AO) was interested in the organized distribution of the music. The duo set up a typical, low budget, bedroom recording rig and from there created the local record label, eNicaR Records.
eNicaR Records was something new and fresh to the local hip hop community. From the unique sound of the music, to the willingness to do anything and everything to build awareness. The release of their first album “I Rep Vol. 1” was a success to say in the least. While it was trendy back then for artists to seek consignment deals with local record stores, eNicaR Records took the more aggressive approach by hitting the streets and making one on one sales. This was looked at by many as “obnoxious” and the duo we’re banned from establishments like shopping malls, night clubs, and bars for soliciting. But after selling roughly 1,500 records and landing a feature story in the local press, it was pretty obvious to music lovers that eNicaR Records played a key role in the local music scene.
Frizo’s first solo record was released in 2006, titled “Property Of”. The record was similar to “I Rep Vol. 1” in many aspects, being that it was juvenile sounding, yet well put together. The only real difference to listeners was the all-around progression in the writing, production, and overall quality. But Frizo’s music itself wasn’t all that was progressing at the time. eNicaR Records managed to distribute as many copies as they did with the first album, but instead of taking months, it weeks. Frizo was also invited to perform songs from “Property Of” at the all popular I Rock Club in Detroit, and in Atlanta where he took 2nd place in a showcasing event.
After 3 years of nothing but singles and mixtapes, Frizo released “Behind The Music”. Instantly the record received great press from local sources as well as industry sources, and the track “Thinking Of A Reason” was introduced to radio. Along with the release of the album, eNicaR Records announced the Behind The Music Tour. An independently ran live music series that made over 150 appearances in 35 cities throughout Wisconsin & Illinois. Frizo & AO teamed up with pioneer DJ, DJ Sham, and from there built an amazing live act that attracted many different listeners statewide. They also secured event sponsorships from companies like Miller Brewing co., Specher Brewing co., Bacardi, and more.
In 2010, Frizo signed a deal with L.A. based company, Marlo Productions. Marlo saw Frizo as a fresh player in the hip hop scene because of his unique style, being that he was so much different than a typical rapper. The deal didn’t go far. With a national tour in the making for Frizo’s first release through Marlo, the two ran into the problem of not seeing eye to eye. Shortly after, the contract was mutually dropped.
Since then, Frizo has released his newest work “My Live Show”, which rather than being a full length album, is an EP made up of 14 singles. Songs like “Got A Hater” and “So Special” have been picked up by different DJ’s and included in worldwide syndicated radio shows. eNicaR Records is also in the building stages of their new live music series “The Goood Tour” making on & off appearances and testing different strategies in select markets. Listeners are waiting for Frizo to announce whatever new release he has in the works, and are attending concerts regularly as well. However you look at it, Frizo is an artist who is well developed and portrays the same skill set as most of your world famous artists. With a die hard fan base and an out of this world work ethic, there are no limits for Frizo as an artist, and he makes that apparent displaying solid progression.
Here We Go

But I could be Naruto uzumaki
Bringing down the Kamikaze
While playing a game of yahtzee
Right next to bill cosby
You know that's not godly
I just wanna say I'm sorry
To everything that's partly
Shake my head it sounds like your the one whos a buffon
I don't care about getting respect
That's the reason you call me a threat
Cause if you can't control me from the inside
I guess that means im out of line
Here we go
Never stop
Or slow oh
We just tip toe
You know that we are on a roll
Here we go
Here we go
Sounds like figaro
Somebody call mi amigos
I hear that I'm benito
Its finito
Im crazier than deadpool but of course im better looking and cool
But remember kids you should just stay in school
I'm as smart as light
That's why my future is so bright
I'm not gonna take the L
Unless I have a conversation with L
Yagami what's up with me
I be down in the industry
I never drink the hennessy
People are scared of me
Since my middle name is infamy
Here we go
Never stop
Or slow oh
We just tip toe
You know that we are on a roll
You know that I got the bars
Thats because Im shooting for mars
You know i'll go so far
That's because I am a star
I'm gonna be bending all these lyrics in the air like aang
I slay all these different bars I made
My bars are life natsu's fire breath
I'm a fire breather till my dying death
Whatcha ya want to say comes next
I guess im blessed
There are so many books I need to read
So many dishes I need to cook with steam
That's because i got the means
Yeah Im a be eatin my greens
Here we go
Never stop
Or slow oh
We just tip toe
You know that we are on a roll
You want me to fade
Cause your a fake
Better get in the kitchen
And bake me a cake
I'll be getting my protein
That's because I'm so lean
I'll put together the yin and the yang
With the choir that sang of the days
All these lyrics just sprang out my brain
That's what I like to call a big bang
My minds up in the clouds
Thinking about every word pound for pound
Like on a battlefield that you jousts
No I don't care about the clout
I'm about to unleash every person's mind that's each
Is festering as a leech or is put on a leash I hope i can bring them all peace
Because I got no beef in this game you want to reech
Here we go
Never stop
Or slow oh
We just tip toe
You know that we are on a roll
The song "Here We Go" by Mr. Frizo features a unique combination of references to pop culture, social injustices, and personal struggles. The lyrics start with a disclaimer that the artist is not a Nazi but could be like Naruto Uzumaki who fights against the Kamikaze. The artist mentions playing Yahtzee with Bill Cosby, and it is not Godly. The artist goes on to apologize for everything in part, and when a Black man is his friend, some perceive the friend as a coon. The artist expresses that he does not care about getting respect, and that's why some people view him as a threat.
The chorus "Here We Go" describes the artist's optimistic outlook on life despite all the hardships he may have faced. In the second verse, he claims that he is crazier than Deadpool and smarter than Light, and that's why his future is bright. He doesn't want to experience losing or negative things unless he is having a conversation with L Yagami, which is fascinating considering that L is a fictional character in the anime series "Death Note." This verse also mentions the artist's middle name being Infamy and how that might scare people.
In the third verse, the artist talks about his artistic ability to bend lyrics like Aang from the Nickelodeon cartoon show "Avatar: The Last Airbender." He compares his bars to Natsu's fire breath and claims that he will be a star because he has the means and eats his greens. In the final verse, the artist takes a dig at people who turn fake and distance themselves from him. He gives advice to bake a cake for him, and he will take care of his protein intake. He talks about putting together the good and the bad (Yin and Yang) and how he wants to help people attain peace, even if he gets accused of beefing in the game.
Overall, the song's tone is optimistic, and the artist uses his artistic abilities to overcome the various issues of life. Mr. Frizo speaks to a generation experiencing a loss of faith in the system and champions independent thinking and positivity.
