As a long ago former UPS driver I will say this- the driver in the video was wrong and most likely very lazy. I am amazed at the drivers in my own neighborhood that complain how hard they have it. We had a guy that would drive his truck into a barn on his route, jack up the rear of the truck and then let the tires spin to rack up mileage. He was caught doing it and fired for it. I will say this, the driver in this video is a one off as there are bad apples in every business, but on the whole 98% of the drivers work their back sides off and do a good solid job every day. UPS doesn't tolerate this kind of thing. Drivers like this give the rest a bad rap.

I know this is an old video, but I just happened to run into it,I was a UPS driver for 34 years I just retired on 10-23-2020, I understand your frustration this would never have happened if I was your driver and that’s because I’m old school, my customers were my most priority and if your pkg was in my truck for delivery no matter what rain or shine your pkg was goin to get delivered, unfortunately the new generation of drivers have a lot to learn and it starts with service,Ups was founded based on one simple idea and that’s to give service, I miss the good old days

I've never had a UPS driver attempt delivery, they left the card without knocking, sometimes they don't leave anything at all and I find out about the alleged 'attempted delivery' from the seller. I've worked from home since before the pandemic. No way they could ever miss me. Many customers all over the world complain about this same issue. I'm sorry you're one of the few good ones out there but you're overestimating your company.

I'm a UPS driver. I'm sorry this has happened to you.. but I can honestly tell you that all of us are there to serve "you" the customer. Without you I cannot take care of my family. With that said there are surely a few bad apples, as with any company. And I can assure you that UPS doesn't take these matters lightly. As a retired Rural Carrier fro the USPS, thanks for mentioning tipping the good delivery people for their service. I tried to get to know as many of my customers as I could. They knew me and understood that I took care to give them the best service possible. For example, if I had to dismount my vehicle to deliver a parcel I would take that day’s mail to the door if I knew they were home. For customers who weren’t home, I kept a supply of preprinted cards that said a package had been left and where I put it. I put the customer’s address on the the card and paper clipped it to a letter and left it in the box. I did very well at Christmas, which compensated for the heavy workload and uncaring and incompetent management.

As a UPS driver I highly doubt he had a big bulk package taking up his truck and he didn't want to deliver it. What is more likely is that he pulled over and tried to locate your package in his fully loaded truck. Unfortunately what probably happened was the loaders from the building loaded your package onto a different truck and this driver just waisted valuable time looking for your package just to find out he doesn't even have it. The problem is the driver across town who now has your package is supposed to deliver it when he is done with his own route. That is where the lazy ones might scan it as missed/ not in so they don't have to drive across town just to driver 1 package.

I just got scammed today. I'm sitting 6 feet from the front door and I received a notification stating delivery attempted at 1:53 PM while I was sitting watching tv. This is pure garbage. These drivers needs to be fired if they don't want to work Sundays.

I was a Fed Ex driver back 12 years ago. We were under so much pressure from management to reach monthly delivery goals for them to collect their bonuses. So their were times you had to mark packages as no one home if that one delivery was so far out of the way it would have taken to much time to head out there. Since you have 3 attempts before for the package was sent back to sender, there were times when the packages were skipped 2 days in a row and if it was Friday it would be Monday before the delivery was made. For 5 days it sat in the truck , when finally supervisor would allow me time for me to make delivery. Felt like shit when talking to customers about why it took so long with a lame ass excuse. Fuck big corporations, it’s all about the money...

Exactly - no fat bodies on a UPS truck. I worked part time loading trucks for delivery and as a driver helper. They don’t stop moving. I didn’t see any lazy workers on delivery routes. It was hard work but fun. I got to see businesses and parts of the town I never had before.

These are the hard numbers. My husband, an Ups driver for 25 yrs delivered more than 1,950,000 packages, 1,100,000 stops and had only 2 residential pkgs complaints, both being his fault and delivering to the wrong address. UPS made these customers whole with free delivery and replacement of lost packages. Yes you my find a bad seed in the apple but finding a bad apple very hard to do. The accountability for the daily work load is 100%. Any suspicious behavior is questioned and dealt with the next day.
These men make over $100,000.00/yr, pay no health care premium for full dental, medical and vision coverage. The majority of drivers will retire with a fully funded monthly pension of $3,500.00 to
$4,300.00. most will have 401K funds in excess of $500,000.00
I sincerely doubt any driver would give this up for your apple watch.

I'm a UPS driver and this video interest me. Access Points (which is what your gas tank was diverted to) and lockers are meant for signature required packages that aren't delivered on the first attempt. It's to keep UPS from having to pay us to go back two more times for nothing. When that happens UPS actually loses money on that package. Not all packages are eligible for that service though. Some customers like the option because they can go get the package without worrying about the driver coming back while they are work. Some don't. The Amazon tracking info you showed in the vid was supposed to be in addition to receiving an info notice from the driver on your door, gate, whatever telling you where the package was diverted to. If you were to show that footage to UPS it, along with their own technology, would prove that the driver was dishonest (a cardinal sin at UPS) and they'd be dealt with. Those GPS points are more precise than you think. UPS can see that scans were made but none of the points were near the house. That capability is just a small part of what all UPS can see. They can also be used to put false claims against us to rest. Don't for a second think that driver represents how the rest of us are. In fact, I can say ( because of my 20+ years at UPS and having worked for one of the FedExs too) that your typical UPS driver are the best at what we do. FedEx Express drivers are a close second but with a much lighter work load with everyone else lagging far behind. And its not that they are all POS employees. Man, I could tell you stories about FedEx Ground and Amazon drivers. Allot of its because of poor training. Some of its because people simply don't care. The basics to getting them all delivered are to leave out of sight and weather if possible, ring the bell, and knock. Doing those things drastically reduces the chances of the things in your video from happening. I honestly don't know why anyone would do anything dishonest knowing that there are cameras EVERYWHERE now. I'd say 90% of the houses on my route have them.

I used to work at fedex and they track your stops per hour. if you needed a signature and it looked like you weren't home, the driver probably did this to shave some time off his route. reminder that these drivers are paid hourly and worked to the bone. It may not be right, but I don't think he was being lazy i think he's pushed to meet unreasonable numbers

We just put them [the Thieves] on a post with a sign above "This is the last package thief." [We also enjoy "visiting" their home and all the stolen stuff we find. Which is turned over to the police.] Now if they are part of a team with a vehicle, then all the neighbors come out block their escape. We call the police and have a "talk" with them. [It's amazing how they all fall down stairs and hail damage to their vehicle.] Then take their keys and driver's licenses and go to their homes for a "visit" [Police in tow.]

But you also inspired me in ways I want to thank my Postal Delivery person on a hot day. What a thoughtful way to show some one you appreciate with some compassion on a hot day with bottled water. However, if everone copies you I am unsure how he will deliver mail with all those iced teas and water bottles filling up his truck, unless you leave a port a potty outside..lol! While I agree that this guy did not do his job, I have to say that these guys (UPS, FEDEX,USPS) are usually expected to deliver unrealistic amounts of packages and mail to people like us. Their bosses and the big shots are also to blame for overburdening these employees.

We just have to remember that UPS, FedEX etc are liable to the shipper of the package, not the receiver. Other than that, ... the UPS driver in this case should be fired for falsification of documentation.

Last year I had a package delivery attempt, they left a sticker on my door only one attempt mind you. I get home find the sticker on my door , go to a small mailbox store and say I have a package to pickup and the lady tells me $5 to pick it up! I said I don’t have any money on me and dug up a little change and said that was all I had she took it and gave me my package. Since when do they start charging at the mail drop off places to pickup ur packages?????? I work at a UPS store and just wanna say that this does happen quite a bit. I get many angry phone calls about how a driver "attempted to deliver" but they really just drive slowly by the house or parked outside. Then the packages come to my store for people to pick up and they're still mad. There's nothing I can do as I'm franchisee but you can call the customer service line and complain about the driver. Sometimes it works other times it doesn't. Still better than your local post office though.

I work for UPS, If i was to guess what happened(since every location is different in every single large company) is that the driver saw your gate 4:46 and didn't think he could get through it. I have trouble believing that a car part would be the thing a driver wouldn't want to deliver since they're usually big and not very heavy. Also if a driver gets done early UPS just assigns them more work. As far as package shipping if your package requires a signature we can't leave it anywhere if you aren't home, if it does not we can just put it anywhere on your property(just most drivers will try to respect whatever posted instructions you leave out.

I have caught USPS doing similar things. We have group mailboxes in our subdivision, which is common in the Phoenix area. The USPS driver drives up to that box, sits for a minute, and then leaves without delivering the mail. That way, their truck shows that it was at the box on GPS. I have busted them several times, took video, and showed the postmaster. They did absolutely nothing about it. We no longer use USPS for any reason.

This just happened to me. I have a Nest cam and the UPS driver sat outfront for 2 min then left. Never attempted to deliver the package. Been waiting on my delivery for 30 days and to get screwed like this makes me angry. Hope it's the same guy that delivers on Monday because I will have some words for him. Bunch of scammers

I worked for a UPS store that had a lot of UPS drivers coming through dropping off failed deliveries. This is 110% true and bullshit, especially when I had to deal with the angry customers saying they were home for deliveries.

I worked for UPS 20+ years ago when the delivery firms had a carbon copy insert which required you to write down all the delivery info/time/etc. The drivers work their balls off rushing around because we had orders to call from certain locations throughout the day so they could track our progress. The company worked us like slaves and if you finished early you were sent to help a guy who was still delivering. Christmas season was a nightmare. So next time someone has a problem with these people know that it’s not easy work.

I’ve had a lot of issues with UPS. In my last apartment place, I watched the driver regularly just get out of the truck with a bunch of infonotices, put them on people’s doors, and drive off. No knocking, no ever even attempting to deliver packages, just a request that you drive ten miles to get a package they were paid to bring to you. I didn’t even have a car at times.

Every single time it happened, I called customer service, demanded that they have the local center call me, and lost my shit on them. Every single time, the driver had to turn around and bring me my package.

Same thing happened to me. Package said it was going to be delivered between 12pm-3pm and then the window changed to 7pm. I had no choice but to wait around the house because it required a signature. Then 8:20pm rolls around and I check the app to see "Delivery Attempt 8:16pm". I was home all day. No doorbell, nothing. I called UPS immediately and they guaranteed it would be ready at a pickup center by 12pm the next day. Surprise - it wasn't. This all started on a Thursday and my package wasn't available until Monday afternoon. They couldn't give two shits.

It happens often, I get a package delivered note when it was not, or attempted delivery note. I worked for a courier company and made damn sure the package got where it was supposed to be. Sometimes the dispatchers didn't even believe I did it so quick. No sympathy for slackers.

That happens in other countrys too. It happens to me everytime with UPS! A few months ago they left my package on a pickup store in another town! Last time I actually lost it on the phone with them... and I never do that! Do they think we're stupid!?!
The best way to deal with this is to complain about them in an e-mail to the store where you bought your stuff and add them in cc... they get told off by the client that matters to them - the store that has a contract with them. If more people do this, the stores will be on top of them. We matter to the stores. The stores matter to them.

I’ve been delivering for 2 years, UPS and now Amazon. I never return any packages to the station unless they’re severely damaged, otherwise I deliver them no matter how late or how sketchy the area might be. However I don’t appreciate customers requesting rear door delivery when their dog is loose, or a customer is polishing their Glocks out back. Love ma job and I love meeting customer satisfaction rates but please be a courteous human being is all I ask 🙏

Ha, I got a cabin back in the woods in SC, you can drive down a dirt driveway about 75 yards woods on each side, limbs to low for box truck, then there is a walk path another 100 yards, there is a shed at end of first driveway, most people leave packages under shed, you can't see my cabin, one morning motion alarm went off, I walked down path with nothing but pair of shorts on and rifle on my shoulder, got about halfway down walk path, ups guy saw me I waved, he hauled ass, lol

you are so right about this, I was a courier for a large UK company for 23 yrs and trust me i was so mad at things like this, many times I have had to redeliver stuff that was " attempted " and got the full wrath of the person at the address, I always made sure that the person knew that they should put in a complaint about it, it was always because the delivery driver was trying to save a few minutes, or they were franchised drivers, who only get paid for a delivery, or an attempted delivery. I was a company driver who did the job right, and I often got into arguements about the job not being done right. it used to make me so mad .

Thanks for cleaning out that it wasn’t your regular ups driver. I’m a ups driver and take my route very seriously, as all the packages are my own. I cover with plastic bags when the weather isn’t cooperating, I never throw nor toss packages, and etc. I do realized that some of the ups drivers are so lazy, not trying hard enough to do the job the right way... it is shame that our customers have to deal with some of the idiots... yesterday, I’ve dropped off a package at a wrong address, of course not knowing... sometimes the gps isn’t accurate enough ( could missed the house or the place by building or two) we do make mistakes sometimes. And custoemer called my center for looking for the package since it was recorded that it was delivered. I drove back 5 miles to pickup the package and delivered to the right customer. Of course it was my fault... I’ve explained the situation to my customer about me being a new driver to his area and apologized. He was happy that I owned the mistake.

Make a long matter short, many of us UPS drivers are hard working people. too bad some of the idiots are making us look bad.

I drove for 25 yrs live my job and customers but I do make mistakes also my customers take care of me doing Xmas time with gifts and money but I find it hard to think ,the people complaing never made mistakes at their jobs? This happens to my brother all the time. He calls the bank, tells him that his package has been abandoned by UPS at a " pickup point" and he gets his money back, then orders from another company same product but with a different shipper. Never heard of DHL doing this however, I have a picture taken many years ago of an "off the clock" peace officer delivering, at the time Federal Express, packages in my neighborhood.

Literally happens to me everytime I have a UPS delivery. I have 6 cameras and 2 doorbells + a tote and still UPS won't deliver....UPS literally just doesn't care and their corporate is NO better. If i was me, i would go to the first & ring the doorbell, see if anyone was home. If not & i know tp leave it on your back doorstep, i would go back & get it, & release it to your back door.

So the driver didn't want to carry the heavy box so he took it to a drop point where he carried it inside anyhow? That driver did not set there long enough to get in the back and scan your stuff. Those guys and girls have 200-300 stops a day. He or she most likely missed your package. They are not going to bring it back with another 299 stops on that truck. Before you make videos like this why don't you actually talk to one of these drivers. FedeX, UPS, Brown,Rhinehart, Sysco,Amazon, etc, they all work their butts off. I bet most people couldn't do their job. I'm 100% sure they are sorry they missed your delivery or lost your package. They're human too and actually make mistakes.

You are probably correct on this driver probably being lazy. When I was still driving for ups we were required to leave a delivery notice at the door stating we made an attempt. UPS has plenty of ways to catch drivers like this I’m sure if they kept this practice up their days would be limited. As far as a scam goes I’m not going to call it that at all just that you have a lousy driver

I don't remember the last time I had a problem with UPS. I do have issues with USPS from time to time. FedEx is worthless - I have nothing but problems with them. If a seller states that they use FedEx, I will not purchase from them. However, every once in a while, I won't notice who the seller uses or they don't state who they use and thus eventually get a FedEx delivery.

This happened to me, I swear! I was expecting a SMALL package even....no bigger than a gallon of milk anyway. They claimed they delivered it, but I watched the UPS guy drive away and never deliver anything. PISSED ME RIGHT OFF! had to send for a replacement from amazon due to non-delivery. I was expecting my dishwasher detergent to come in....now I have been unable to do my dishes for days because of this crap! Kitchen is starting to stink as I wait to get what I need. honestly....if I could drive, I wouldn't even BOTHER ordering online, but sadly...I don't have much choice. As far as the outcome, they said it would be re-delivered to my house TODAY, but so far...nothing and it's almost 3pm here, so who knows....something tells me I'm going to end up feeding cockroaches before long.

As a UPS driver this logic doesn’t make any sense. This would make more work for us in entirety. Anytime I have to get a signature I pray the consignee is home so I can get rid of it instead of have to deal with a bunch of send agains at the end of the day.

In case nobody has satisfied your answer as to why you received a notice saying it was attempted, I’ll explain it super clearly. I’ve worked at UPS for many years as a manager and a driver. Here’s what happened. The driver in the video did not stop to ping a GPS location, and FYI we can’t scan/ ping while the vehicle is on, it’s against safety regulations and there’s a computer that reports if we do that. The driver more than likely looked for your package and couldn’t find it. Given that it was around Thanksgiving it was probably some random seasonal helper who has no idea what to do and didn’t communicate that he couldn’t find the package. TRUST ME, allllll drivers want to get rid of anything that’s big and irregular, I’d be banging your door down to get rid of that gas tank. Anything we don’t get rid of means we have to see it for the next two days. So here’s what happened: Your package was on a wrong truck and the driver who had it probably didn’t report it cuz it’s thanksgiving and he didn’t want to drive all across town so he could go home later than what he already was. He went back to the building late, put your tank on the belt when nobody was looking and when a supervisor found it he made a clerk scan you package as “attempted” and that send it to the access point. Clerks have a scanner on their computers that can put exceptions on packages.. Trust me, this is the most probable reason. EVERY package a ups has to be scanned at the end of the day. Supervisors, including myself at one point, get threatened and fired if these things happen. Supervisors don’t have the union to protect them , they get fired for any reason. So when it’s 945pm on thanksgiving week naturally he’s gonna ask a clerk to scan it with whatever reason as long as it gets scanned. It’s all a chain effect. The underpaid kid who loaded the truck messed up, which leads the drivers to get behind, which then puts supervisors in a binde to do whatever to protect their jobs. FYI, no UPS cannot fire the kid for screwing up the drivers trucks...... the union gives them too much protection. It’s next to impossible. Hope this answers your question and I’m sorry this happened.
By the way, UPS trucks and more rigged and wired up than your house. Trust me, they know and see everything....... more than you can imagine.

That crap has happened multiple times at our house. Sitting here 30' from the front door with a working doorbell. Says package out for delivery but no doorbell ring and no package. Sometimes it takes 2 or more additional days to get it delivered or you get the notice that your package will be returned if I don't drive to go get it. The weekend USPS driver does the same thing. Leaves a damn notice out at the Hwy in the mailbox but the cameras show no one drove up to the house so they never attempted to deliver anything.

Dude I was waiting for the real Scam but never happened, I understand you don't like your packages being late who does?, I just started to work for FedEx and believe me it's hard when you are the new driver, although I never will do what that guy did, I understand why he might have done it, I don't know how UPS treats this attempted deliveries and then go and drop them off in a drop off location, we always try to deliver the next day for like 3-4 days in a row especially when it needs a signature if it doesn't trust me it's gonna be dropped off at your door......but there are ghost deliveries too in the scanner, sometimes it points you somewhere you are not supposed to go and google maps will point you in the right direction...... a lot of people think it's easy but quit a few days later, it's not easy to deliver over 100 packages a day and also have to worry about pick ups and make sure those pick ups make it back to the station on time since some are due early the next day........don't get me wrong I love my job and enjoy being outside, I just wish times were different so I can actually engage with our customer more........going back to the scams, there are some peeps selling stuff on ebay that really scammed you by showing tracking on your items delivered and there's nothing you can do about it, that really sucks!!!!!

I had an Amazon driver throw my package and a few others from around the neighborhood on someone's back porch. I contacted Amazon to let them know I never got my package, so they refunded me and told me to order it again. A few days later, an older woman from a few houses down the road stopped by and dropped my package off explained that she had several packages thrown on her back porch that were supposed to be going to different addresses. I'm guessing the driver wanted to finish that route so he could get one more in. I let amazon know what happened and they handled it from there.

This literally happened to me a week ago. Was at home waiting on my packages from FedEx, my husband had just gotten back from running errands so were both home. I pick up my phone it says package delivered. I go outside no package. Now before I picked up my phone I saw a uhaul truck in front. So I asked my husband did he get the package answer is no. He also saw the uhaul truck because he had went to the door as it was pulling off. So I check my cameras and low and behold the truck is on the opposite side of the street. You see driver at back of the truck, then they leave the day tag saying sorry we missed you. Now mind you she scanned that the package was delivered (NOT). Long story short I call fedex and company I purchased from to let them know I never received said package. It was delivered the next day Sunday by the same driver, she said she didn't want to put it over the fence and the dogs get it. My dogs do not mess with our packages. I let her know my cameras did not capture her leaving or even bringing the package to the fence. Fedex called back two days later!

Yea Bob, same thing going on here, 3 or 4 months ago I ordered some tool and storage items, one was a welded wire open top 4ftx4ft cage with fold down walls. Heavy duty to put scrap metal pieces, it weight was 110lbs on the shipping invoice. No something you could easily move. I got a notification from fedex packages have been delivered. I reviewed my videos on my surveillance system and I didn't have anyone come up my 1/2 mile that day, so I called Norhern tool and reported the missing item. They did an investigation and called me 2 days later and said fedex had delivered it and if it was not there I should call law enforcement and have them check. I told the female customer serv rep I live in the hills of ne Mississippi with 2 ir alarms and 2 magnetic alarms on my 1/2 mile driveway, and several video surv camers with audio, I also have 4 grown rottweilers that run free around my house and yard. Then I told her there was no way anyone took it because it was never delivered. I have 24 hours of video on that date, that's timr and date stamped. She said she would put in for a refund because they were out of the baskets, they had been liquidated and production had been canceled. Like you I try to get to know my delivery people, and when I talked to my regular guy I found he was off that day. I told him I told cs my guy was a good and dependable person and he was not suspect. I got a full refund but it was never about the money. From what I've uncovered ( hear say in court) the fedex company has some bad eggs causing the trouble, and most of it is missing ammo, and sometimes guns. Welcome to our new world, and I feel it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Buckle up and be prepared!

@J.R. Bull That's good for you. In my area we get different drivers and they show up between 3pm to 7pm so they are wildly inconsistent, sometimes the drivers aren't even alone and have extra help. Your circumstances and experiences don't automatically give you a pass to make a blanket statement and say it's false.

As a driver myself. This could be a number of things. Lazy enough to not move a box. No. Upset with you for something. Probable. Just driving past as our nav systems loop us through neighborhoods daily. Most likely.

Needless to say, if i was your driver... there would be no mistakes :)

EDIT: we are not 'supposed to' take tips by any means. That said some people dont take no for an answer and it is cash so...

Give your drivers a stash of drinks or snacks to keep them energized. The company pays us well enough ^_^

I can explain this . The loop sometimes wants the route to deliver some in this town a little here a little there and then go to the next and come back and finish up during scheduled PU. Depending if management is really on your ass about doing it that way a lot of these drivers will not do that and will cut miles and time . Our center shoots for 85% accuracy for every driver to follow the loop .

Same thing happened to me, we were all home and no way the driver came to my door and knocked. The email I received stated the package required a signature. I normally never have a problem with my regular guy. I called, arranged for the driver to return the next day. I advised this vendor never requires a signature. The agent stated I would need to sign but could update my profile for the future but it wouldn’t be in time for this package. The next day the packaged was delivered, I answered the door, the driver stated thank you and turned to leave, I asked “do you need a signature?” He looked on the package and stated... “no, it’s not necessary on this item” thanked me and left.... I am very glad you posted this video

This happen to me in Denton Texas and even if I complained with some moron over the phone he excused the lazy ridiculous driver anyway…the driver was so lazy that he did not want to look in the very back of the truck for my medium size package, when he came for second time to deliver it my colleague had to harass this moron so he could truly look for it and then give it to me, I was beyond upset, I have learned that I will never use UPS in my entire life, I hope they go bankrupt!!

I am a lighting designer and often if I need to fly somewhere I will ship my toolboxes UPS or FedEx to the location. After having I really ballsy FedEx guy actually broke open my one toolbox, I'm guessing he dumped it in a bookbag or something then delivered the empty toolbox. Thankfully I had a GPS tracker in my toolbox that he dumped in the bag right with my tools. Anyway to make a long story short, found out the location and oviously got the police involved and had my tools back that same night.

I had an idiot Amazon delivery guy. He put the box on the rubber "Welcome" mat, right in front of the door. I open the door, it hits the box and causes it to tip up and lock in place between the door and the mat. It was like a wheel chock. I had to repeatedly close and open the door to try to get the box to slide so I could open it far enough to step outside and get the box.

You do not have to ring the door bell if it is a RING. It can notify you that someone is in your yard, near your door, or in the facility of the video view.
I bet those kids were taught to steal packages off people's porches by their parents. They were taught to ring the door bell and if someone did answer, they would try to get them to buy their stuff they are selling, and then say they found this package on their porch. If no one answers, they take the package and give it to their parents somewhere in the general facility of the neighborhood.

I do not know if this happened to me, but I have had packages left on the porch. Then for this one package, it was stated as an attempt. I was given the excuse, "you should go online and put leave at the porch." I have not have a problem before the one package, but I have not had a problem lately. Could change here soon. I am watching my package being delivered and it is past the time that they scheduled it to be here. It states it should be here at 2:45 pm, but then on their calendar is states 9:00 pm. What a load of crap!

This use to happen to me with Amazon. I would often get notices from Amazon that my product was delivered but wasn't and wouldn't be until the next day. I'm sure it's because of the pressure they put on delivery drivers. But it's lying and inexcusable for the drivers to do this. I've also ordered stuff and then it gets sent back to Amazon as undeliverable yet 97 percent of deliveries get to me just fine.

Same thing happened to me on December 9th. Ordered a lift chair for my elderly father. Got notification from the seller that ups delivered the chair and no chair was at my home, so went to ups office which is literally 1.2 miles away and the clerk at the office was super polite I showed him the ring video from my front door to prove that there was no truck or package at my home in a one hour timeframe before and after the said delivery time. The clerk had his supervisor pull up the GPS ping and scan data in there system from the truck. They tracked down the package and made the driver go back and load it back up on his truck and assured me that the driver would deliver the package by the end of business that same day. The driver did deliver the chair at the time the UPS office said it would be delivered and of course the driver gave me this sob story that he delivered to wrong address which I know that was bs because those trucks have turn by turn gps on board and he expected me to believe that he left the package somewhere and the owners of the wrong house he dropped it off at didn’t notice a box that big on their porch for several hours, no his lazy ass didn’t want to bring a big bulky box that weighed 104 pounds to the door. But I guess I was kinda lucky that the ups hub and office is 1.2 miles away and they made him do his job.

Hey Bob, this has been happening to me for years and I have video to back it up. UPS is by far the worst at doing it. I have all but stopped using them because of it. The USPS people have a neat trick they do you might want to watch for. They will pull into the neighborhood, scan ALL of the packages that are to be delivered in the subdivision, then start making deliveries. So in a large subdivision like mine, all of the packages show a delivery time of 8:00 am but it will not be out on my porch until between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm IF they leave it at the correct home!! I get packages for homes miles away and I don't get packages that say they were delivered. This is an EVERY DAY THING. But Great Video! Glad you had the balls to make it. I need my packages to bad to put my face out there.

Exactly what happened to me. I saw a UPS truck turning around near my house and he took off, got notice they made an attempt...bull fucking shit. Called UPS they said to call shipper, they washed their hands of it. Shipper sent me another package. It was sent from Texas, made it all the way to Canada. Then to the Kingston, Ontario warehouse location which is only a 50 minute drive from my house. Instead of having it delivered in the next day or two, they rerouted it all the way across Canada to Newfoundland. UPS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.
