Overall Meaning

I will say that the thing I like most about Kanye is that he has introduced me to different artist that are my favorite artists right now on everyone of his CD's. His first CD College Dropout kind of introduced me to Kanye at his peak. His second album Late Registration introduced me to Lupe Fiasco who is my favorite artist right now. His third album Graduation introduced me to Coldplay (Chris Martin) and Labi Siffre. And 808s introduced me to Kid Cudi & Mr. Hudson, so I am grateful for that.

difference is, that MR hudson does't need the VOCODER. He uses it as an EFFECT - he doesn't rely upon it. Until you've heard him live - reserve judgement. Him and the Library are frickin AWESOME xx

Kanye might be conceited, but he sure does know what talent is and how to find it. That, plus he doesn't confine himself to the SAME format with the SAME kind of collaborations. He likes diversity in his production and his music. You got to respect that about the dude. Ye is the only one that is versatile enough to introduce me to all of these different artists. That is something about MC's from Chicago like Lupe, Kanye, and Common. They all have diverse tastes in music and subject matter.

Kanye's music is great and Mr Hudson's 1st album is too. I don't mind Hudson's new stuff, but I agree the autotune is unnecessary on this song particularly. He's an independent artist from London, and Kanye's trying to make him an American pop star (with varied success). Tony F, if you're telling the truth then that's pathetic of Kanye, since he says he hates conformity. I'm surprised Mr Hudson wouldn't stand up to him, I hope we get to hear those 12 tracks one day if they do exist.
