Born Lorenzo Copeland, he grew up in Atlanta Georgia and made numerous back and forth movements between Atlanta and Savannah. His uncle owned several jukeboxes, giving him full exposure to the rhythms of Atlanta. He counts Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and Jimmy Hendrix as some of his early favorites.
From as early as 9 years old he was a primary school entertainer. This stardom exploded as he entered Martin Luther King High and by the tenth grade he was a superstar, performing regularly at school concerts. After leaving high school, Perfect went out in the world to get a first-hand understanding of the music business, spending time at studios like Penthouse, Patchwerk, King Jammys and Hot Beats while he fine-tuned his art. Returning to Atlanta, he started appearing at dances and stage shows every chance he could, causing his popularity to soar until his name was on everyone’s lips.
Determined to break into mainstream recording, Perfect Timing, a mixtape with a blend of classical and refreshingly new, soul-reaching messages. The airwaves were blazing with the smash hits ‘Message To The Fake,’ ‘Dope Boyz' and ‘Throw It’. He has already been recognized with awards, placing third in IRIE FM’s Big Break competition in 2009. He has been making regular show appearances, and “locked up” Sumfest with a scintillating performance on Dancehall Night in 2010.
2014 is the year when Perfect’s name will be recognized outside of circles with the multi-genre album 'Time Waits For No One'.
With Puerto Rican, Native American and African American cultures, Perfect’s lyrics are deep and straightforward yet unforgettably melodious, leaving you to listen over and over. Simply put, he keeps his lyrics real and unapologetically uses music as his medium for education and self-awareness So, are you ready for the Next Level of Hip-Hop through the new generation? As the radio DJs say, “Here is the man who is perfectly Perfect.”

Mr. Perfect Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Ora a casa mia
"No, faccio l'escort"
Mi sento come Dottor Jekyll e Mr Hyde
Odio i reality show
Mi sento come Dottor Jekyll e Mr Hyde
Dovrei contare fino
Non importa ciò che penso di te
Ma certe volte non capisco niente
Detto questo vorrei dirti che
Io non sopporto neanche me
Non importa ciò che penso di te
Ma certe volte non capisco niente
Detto questo vorrei dirti che
Io non sopporto neanche me
Fuck you asshole
