Diswazzi it’s not necessarily just nostalgia, the standards of the time when Jimmy Neutron was made were a lot more different than the cartoon standards now. There was a lot of suggestive/adult comedy that we loved that would get a pass because it was 2003, but now? They would have to scale the show down to straight up childhood hyperactive comedy like Spongebob is now.

@@diswazzi1683 This isn't nostalgia. I straight up don't remember most of the stuff shown in the video, yet I found the majority of it to be funny. The only significant difference that holds water today compared to back then is the target audience mixed with negative commercialization. Many are dropping (expensive) cable tv in favor of YT and streaming sites. Cable wants to attract young children with not legible jokes, but with cheap, easy laughs and bright animation that holds your attention long enough for profit. Examples: Sanjay and Craig, Teen Titans Go, all other cartoons filled with excessive immature humor and little brain food (comedy needs brain food).They either don't have time or don't care to write material made for a wider, more intelligent (assumed) audience. Leaning towards the latter option, seeing as how awesome shows still pop up every now amd again. Adventure Time even at first was a show made for the young and old, digestable for both. I personally wouldn't want my children watching cartoons aimed (emphasis on aimed) towards them without taking their intelligence into account, as its not good for their mental development Spongebob Squarepants had smart humor that both children and teens could enjoy, effectively smartening up viewers with a wider vocabulary. Capitalistic practices like reducing quality for quantity will be the death of society I tell ya. Screw a short attention span, make quality content, and you'll have a dedicated following.

My favourite episode and Sheen moment is the Granny Baby episode where Jimmy accidentally turns his Grandmother into an infant , the three boys meet up and ask Cindy Vortex and Libby Folfax who are manning a yard sale to do the diaper change of the baby , Sheen sees a maternity brassiere for at the sale and thinks it is an Ultra Lord Triple Barrel Slingshot . He asks how much the alleged " collectors item " is and Carl Wheezer says " if that's indeed what that is, then my mother must have a bunch of Ultra Lord Triple Barrel Slingshots"!

It’s funny you say that, I found out that the cast did the episode recordings with each other, which is super uncommon in voice acting, it’s usually always just one at a time doing their lines and they react to someone else reading the characters lines, and I wouldn’t doubt that when the three people here did the VO, Cindy’s voice actor may of broke character right there.

It just hit me that Sheen's name is "Sheen Estevez" which are the stage and real names of Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen- they were born Estevez but go by Sheen in person.

Remember "Planet Sheen"? That show was so much wasted potential. Imagine a Ultra Lord buddy action show with Sheen shinangains., dare I say the pilot was pretty good and kinda like that!
