Mr Twin Sister Lyrics

Feel it with you, in you feel it
In you feel it, in you feel it
In you feel it, in you feel it
In you feel it
Feel it with you
If you feel it in you
Make it a commotion in you
Seeing all the glimmer in you
Seeing all the glimmer with you
Feeling with you, feeling in you
I want it bad, I want it bad
I want it bad, I want it bad
I want it bad, I want it bad
Tell me a story, something I can picture
Bad house, bad street
Tell me a secret, I won't tell anyone
Bad house, bad street
Tell me whatever
Give me something to do
Bad house, bad street
Make me a promise 'cause
I want it bad, I want it bad
I want it bad, I want it bad
I want it bad, I want it bad
Bad house, bad street
Big hands, big feet
Got a car, beet, beet
Bad boy, bad street
Good kids, two kids
Got a job, feeds three
"Bad Street" by Mr Twin Sister is a dreamy, hypnotic song that seems to be about longing for something that is just out of reach. The main theme of the song seems to be a desire for escape from a mundane or oppressive situation, represented by the "bad house, bad street" that is repeated throughout the song. The singer is searching for something more exciting or meaningful, something that will "make it a commotion" and "glimmer" with possibility. The repetition of the phrase "I want it bad" reinforces the urgency of this desire.
The verses of the song alternate between specific requests - "Tell me a story," "Tell me a secret" - and more abstract descriptions of the singer's feelings - "Feeling with you, feeling in you." These lines seem to imply a search for connection with someone else, both on a surface level ("seeing all the glimmer with you") and a deeper, more emotional level ("feeling in you"). However, the repeated refrain of "bad house, bad street" suggests that no matter who the singer is with or what stories they tell, they are still ultimately trapped in their current situation.
Overall, "Bad Street" is a haunting and evocative song that captures the restless desire for change that many of us feel at some point in our lives.

This is my family :) Latinos come in many shades and It's hard for people to accept. Not all brown people are Mexican, these are Salvadorians and Puerto Ricans. Not that there is anything terrible about being Mexican. They are the beautiful people! The lyrics and video are about Latin American life in NY. Love, Andrea Estella xo
