Black Holes and Revelations (2006) incorporated electronic and pop elements, displayed in singles such as "Supermassive Black Hole", and brought Muse wider international success. The Resistance (2009) and The 2nd Law (2012) explored themes of government oppression and civil uprising and cemented Muse as one of the world's major stadium acts. Rolling Stone stated the band possessed "stadium-crushing songs". Topping the US Billboard 200, their seventh album, Drones (2015), was a concept album about drone warfare and returned to a harder rock sound. Their eighth album, Simulation Theory (2018), prominently featured synthesisers and was influenced by science fiction and the simulation hypothesis. Their ninth album, Will of the People (2022), which combined many genres and themes from their previous albums, was released in August 2022.
Muse have won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards and eight NME Awards. In 2012 they received the Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. As of June 2016, they have sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

New Born
Muse Lyrics

Link it to yourself
Stretch it like a birth squeeze
The love for what you hide
The bitterness inside
Is growing like the new born
When you've seen, seen
Too much too young, young
Hopeless time to roam
The distance to your home
Fades away to nowhere
How much are you worth?
You can't come down to earth
You're swelling up, you're unstoppable
'Cause you've seen, seen
Too much too young, young
Soulless is everywhere
Destroy the spineless
Show me it's real
Wasting our last chance
To come away
Just break the silence
'Cause I'm drifting away
Away from you
Yeah, link it to the world
Link it to yourself
Stretch it like it's a birth squeeze
And the love for what you hide
And the bitterness inside
Is growing like the new born
When you've seen, seen
Too much too young, young
Soulless is everywhere
Destroy the spineless
Show me it's real
Wasting our last chance
To come away
Just break the silence
'Cause I'm drifting away
Away from you
Oh, oh, woah
The lyrics to Muse's song "New Born" are filled with deep emotions and symbolism. The opening lines of the song, "Link it to the world, link it to yourself, stretch it like a birth squeeze, the love for what you hide" suggest that the lyrics are about the process of creating something new, whether it be a new idea or a new life. The use of the metaphor of birth implies that creation can be painful and difficult, but ultimately worthwhile.
The bitterness inside growing like a new born suggests that the creator is struggling with negative emotions, and the lines "when you've seen, seen too much too young, young, soulless is everywhere" imply that this struggle is a result of life experiences that have left the creator feeling jaded and disillusioned.
The lines "destroy the spineless, show me it's real, wasting our last chance to come away" suggest that the creator is calling out those who lack conviction and courage, and urging them to take action before it's too late. The overall tone of the song is one of urgency and desperation, with the chorus pleading for someone to "break the silence."
Overall, "New Born" is a powerful song about the creative process and the struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world that can be harsh and unforgiving. It is a testament to the power of music to convey complex emotions and ideas.

God has zero to do with it. ;) Please do not get offended or anything. I don't believe in God. And I do not have to respect religion. Just people, not the thing...
