There was always this one part of some song that my father loved, but he could never find anything quite like it. And then I showed him the WolfQuest soundtrack, and he just fell in love with all of it, and now I'll just randomly hear him playing the songs while cleaning or driving me home from school, and it just makes me wanna play WolfQuest.

I'm going to be honest; I don't play Wolf Quest with music. I always liked hearing the natural sounds, so I let it sit off, but growing up, the menu music was ALWAYS there, and it's also always in YouTube videos. Well over the past decade, I've grown up loving this music and to see it upgraded over the years has given me so much joy and nostalgia. With or without it in-game, I know every track by heart, and it was fun hearing him explain and play around with the notes to make the familiar tunes. <3

The music they played in the beginning made me think of WolfQuest 2.7, honestly the music and the themes that are what they chose for the WolfQuest saga are amazing. Once again I will say that I love this game and can’t wait for all that is to come.

the main theme always was and always will be my fav. it always got stuck in my head at random times during the day and i loved it lol. whenever i hear a guitar playing a melody relatively close to this, it makes me want to go and play wolf quest. the music just brings so much joy and good memories!! <3

I wouldn't be surprised if they added small herds of bison with cows and calves once the rest of the game is finished..

But the word has been that having big herds of bison like real life would be too hard on the performance or frames for most computers.

Can’t commend the decision to have an all acoustic soundtrack. Fits the theme of the game perfectly. Then those occasional electric strings and drum beats really bring extra when they come along, you know it’s serious. Reminds me so much of the brilliant soundtrack for the Last of Us.

Being a Mexican Wolf Therian, AND a Musician (Guitarist, and singer). This might be the hardest video I’ve ever watched. Two mindsets running at full power. I was always impressed with the soundtrack. It’s use of harmonics, dropped tuning. Has a rustic, old west feel.

9 months late, but here i go on my little bout of talking

it's surprising to me how interested i am in how the game's soundtracks are made! now seeing Tim Buzza's process on making the music makes me see why the music has so much emphasis. i'll never be able to play a guitar in a way it'll sound good, even with DADGAD, so in my opinion, Buzza's skill is so... impressive? i think that's the right word.

i can't wait for the Tower Falls soundtrack!!

when if first heard Buzza's soundtrack for AE, i was not a fan. it had a very midwestern vibe to it that i normally dont care for. after playing the game for some time, it did grow on me. after watching this video, i have much more appreciation and respect for the pieces Buzza and his colleagues did for AE. the way he incorporated those "slides" to mimic a wolf's howl was very clever.

A room I've never been in and a guitar I've only ever seen in a video are the most nostalgic things in my life😂😅

Also, I'm too broke and my house is too cluttered to have any instruments (other than a guitar I've had but never played since I was 8 and a violin I've had for two years but never even tuned it) so I use GarageBand ALL THE TIME.

Sharing my newest experience with WolfQuest multiplayer so maybe it can get fixed:
Other than this one time it’s been perfect but this one time the affinity wouldn’t go up whatsoever. Eagles spawned once they had all been 15 pounds. One pup wouldn’t go in when we told them too and instead walked the other way when it was a wolf attack. One pup refused to eat. This entire game was glitched. One pup got sick and almost died within about 10 minutes real time.

Update, another bug:
We reloaded so we could have 4/5 pups left. Wolves came (2) and oneshotted 3 pups at the same time. One wolf got Redwood and magically killed the other 2 with him.

i have a reccomendation for the game, (also i absolutely love all of wqs soundtracts and look forward to more) but my recommendation has got to be bison calves and able to hunt birds. Though tatic has to be good to catch these, i would LOVE to see them in game. So lets say to hunt birds you would crouch, and if your downwind and lucky, you could possibly be able to cling onto the neck or belly of the bird and hunt it, as for bison calves, it would just be like hunting elk or moose calves but a little more intense. I hope you put this into consideration, and i cant WAIT for the saga! you have a great day!

The wolfquest music is absolutely beautiful and brilliantly designed. However, the transitions aren't amazing so maybe those should be tweaked. Its really annoying when the music changes in the middle of a hunt or fight.

It sounds nice, you could have added it it with the Old Lost River music as well...I mean not going to lie this sounds good...I do not understand why it was not picked up and used for Lost River. Traditional is nice...but you hear it often enough and it becomes a pain...or you know you get a broken bugged out sound track. One of the two.

I was just wondering if there was going to be another map DLC that might also come out when tower falls is released, as I know from a statement in 'Faces and Places' {Jan 22 2021} 'Death Gulch' was marked out as a map that was wanted to be made but couldn't.

May I ask an unrelated question? Recently on the fourms myself and a few others were talking about how cool it would be for the max age to be upped to 12 instead of 8 and lots of reasons and suggestions on how. Have you seen that/ thoughts?

@WolfQuest oh no, not litter size! Elder wolves. Sorry for the confusion. We were thinking that the change of having a Premonition of Death within a certain year rises 20% each year, with 8 year old wolves having 20%, 9 year olds 40%, 10 year olds 60%, and so on with 12 year olds having 100%. I even suggested a prevention to work arounds; I siggest checking out the forum!
