The singer is in a state of contradiction, like a baby doll covered in ink. They have dark and light influences, like the devil and Jesus, in their life.

Today isn't feeling like a happy day; rather, the singer feels monstrous and needs the help of a preacher, in exchange for being there as someone or something to scare.

The singer is trying to communicate that they have different sides, ranging from evil to good. They're needing someone to catch them and save them from themselves, in order to be their 'little miss scareall.'

The concept here is that even though Halloween has ended, the singer will always be able to find ways of scaring you. They'll take you to the dark side and alter your perceptions of holidays. They're searching for someone to participate in this behavior with them.

The character has been feeling guilty about something, and it's been three weeks since they've gone to confession to try and clear it up.

The singer is remorseful for their misdeeds, but can't help feeling like a monster hiding in the shadows. They convey the message of feeling monstrous and like little miss Scareall with a macabre feel throughout.
