I listen to a silent sound
I perceive a subtle, quiet presence

behind my memories
That seems to lie hidden behind my recollections of past experiences

I am striving to see inside of me
I am actively working to gain a clearer understanding of my inner self

To solve my bewilderment
To resolve the confusion and perplexity I am experiencing

and let it flow like energy
And to allow the resolution to flow through my being in a dynamic manner

Revealing my personality
Ultimately resulting in the revelation of my unique character and identity

The path to my thoughts and my soul
The route to understanding my innermost thoughts and emotions

This maze is leading me
Despite the perplexity and complexity of this journey, it is leading me to enlightenment

Inside of me
Once again referencing the fact that this journey is entirely internal

I am yearning to perceive myself
I am eagerly desiring to see myself clearly and truly

I am embraced
I am wrapped up in, and accepting of,

with my own intelligence
my own intellect and mental sharpness

That obstructs me
Which paradoxically impedes, or slows down, my progress

From finding the sanctum
From discovering the holy or sacred part of my being
